The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has done little to protect five- to 11- year-olds from infection from the Omicron variant, data revealed by New York state officials on Monday shows.
Researchers at the New York State Department Health gauged infection rates of minors who have had the Pfizer jab made available to them. Children were split into two age groups, one of children five to 11 and the other for children 12 to 17.
They found that the two-dose Pfizer shot was only 12 percent effective at preventing Omicron infection in the younger age group only one month after receival.
The findings have far reaching implications on the use of the vaccines, and whether parents will want to get their children jabbed.
Children do not suffer much of a risk from the virus, with hospitalizations and deaths being especially rare.
The main argument in favor of vaccinating them is to prevent them from spreading the virus, though these findings imply that the vaccine does little to prevent that anyways.
In cities like New York, children as young as five years old were made to show proof of vaccine to enter indoor dining, fitness and entertainments establishments. Children also had to be vaccinated to take part in some school activities.
This likely influenced some parents' decisions regarding the vaccine - as uptake for the shots has been relatively low in younger age groups - and now official data is coming from the state showing that the shot did little to protect the children from infection.
Some parents also had significant fears about potential side-effects of the vaccine, and took a risk to give their child the shot, only to now find out it potentially is not as effective as advertised.

That is entirely the fault of heretics like you falsely spreading the lie that the lord's gift causes heart issues in young people. Those vicious lies are why pfizer were forced into lowering the dose for our lords children, and thus rendered his gift completely useless. I hope you burn in hell for this.

I dont think its me you need to address though. I know all this and have set certain people on ignore now cause I cant be bothered reading it anymore.
But you shouldnt really have to do that and it wont help others who feel the same way or new posters who will frequent this site. I dont think this site needs much moderating (if any at all) and it keeps going in its own pace. Which is what I enjoy in all honesty. But the carte blanche given doesn't seem to be working for a few certain individuals. They are the ones that need a reminder or addressing at times. I find it interesting to why anyone would need an internet forum to act like an obnoxious cunt. You'd have to wonder what little pleasures people have in their real lives. But, not up to me and not my problem.

Do you mean the Pfizer report you referred to a few days ago. If so, that's not what it says, at all

What that report is a list of reported side affects that have been submitted to Pfizer, so out of the hundreds of millions of doses there have been 42,000 side affects reported of which 1200 were deaths. The report is used to monitor spikes for additional investigation much like VAERS, and it repeatedly says there is nothing out of the ordinary with volumes and any different to initial testing. But, I'm sure you know that, as you obviously read the whole report and didn't just look at snippets on Twitter and Reddit.
