I think it's partly the fact that a capitalistic system encourages such behaviour eventually. It's inevitable. Plus, it's a system that rewards and encourages psychopathy. So that's what we get: a mad world run by psychopaths.

No, I call socialist things and capitalist things for what they are. Not my fault your view of the world is a childish fairy tale with evil business men in suits making evil profits. If you ever grow up, I'll gladly debate it with you.
 
No, I have a definition of capitalism and of socialism. You don't, not outside of good feels and bad feels, which is why there is no point.
 
If memory serves, that was around the time people were dying in intensive care, without their relatives being able to visit them due to rules, and without a proper funeral due to the rules. I bet they feel like clowns about it now. I'll say it again, the nurses should have murdered Boris whilst he was in intensive care, it was so obviously the correct play, so it's their own fault for being pathetic feel infested humans.

Most of those pilot deaths are from suicides after they were grounded and didn't get to see their second family/girls on the side.

In total 48 people have been admitted to the ICU. Of those, 23 were fully vaccinated, five were partly vaccinated, while 20 were unvaccinated.

This is a significant percentage of unvaccinated given the fact that only 6% of the Irish adult population is not fully vaccinated.

Of the total deaths which rose to 45 people, 41 of those were fully vaccinated while 4 of the casualties were partly vaccinated. 0 of the 45 deaths were unvaccinated people

That I'd expect to see half the people in ICU unvaccinated from 6% of the population, despite a massive skew towards older and more vulnerable, actually being vaccinated?

It's been asked and answered dozens of times in this thread.

This time, though, they've thought to monetise and politicise this particular pandemic. And as is the case with capitalism, it will be milked and dragged out for God knows how long to secure every penny. We could well be out of the woods (were the woods even that bad?) but we may well never know it.

We can tell with all the mainstream rhetoric regarding this omicron variant. It's all talk of concern, rising cases, increased restrictions etc etc, and barely any coverage of potential positive implications, including some even backed up with promising data. It's our inherent tendency to focus on fear, as well as the proclivity to manipulate and capitalise upon that fear that will see this period in human history go down as one of the more disastrous, I feel.

Let me make up my own terms. Constructive financial transactions vs Destructive financial transactions. There, now you can keep capitalism and socialism for whatever childish fairytale world you believe in.

But by all means do continue voting for more and more destructive financial transactions, I'm sure it will be fine.
