That's irrelevant. It's probably even racist to foreign researchers. But being scientifically illiterate and thus mistaking empirical measurements for anecdotal evidence is highly relevant. Being scientifically illiterate and being totally unaware that empirical correlations are levels and levels above your dumb statistical significance data science approach is also relevent. This is how you get clowned, I don't know what you can realistically do about it.
You'd think the guy who wrote the paper, would have had access to a load of editors, given all the books he's written on unproven diets.
This brings me back to my point about conspiracy theorists and their lack of professionalism. Where are their transferrable skills??

Obsession to explain or solve it.

All they lack is an understanding of nature and mathematics. Which is also lacked by the data scientists they're up against. Every single one of those other skills is also lacked by those data scientists.

I obviously don't agree. It's just a word though, I don't mind conceding that conspiracy theorists should be defined to include the conmen too. That's fine. I will just pick a different word. Like conspiracy empiricists. So conspiracy empiricists have the transferable skills I listed, and they don't include the conmen you are talking about.

The buyers of the herbal healing crystals have been induced into making the ridiculous purchase by the states engagement in fearmongering. Otherwise it's not a product or service they have any use for, or would want, and would do nothing to improve their standard of living. The state's involvement makes it a socialist transaction. So conspiracy socialists is a more accurate term.
I will happily pick another word for capitalism when you supply a definition for what it is and what it is not.
