Chinese "Devil Virus" - anyone worried?

Of course only a weird conspiracy theorist would take any notice of how one of Bill Gates' scientists predicted that a new variant would be a real problem in the first week of December.

Gibraltar isn't a great example, given it's only 40k population, and there's far bigger samples all over the world. But, I looked anyway, and something like 90% of their Covid deaths happened back in Jan/Feb, before they had vaccines, and their case rate is less than half of its peak, despite almost all restrictions being removed. Looks like their recent increase coincides with about 6 months after they were vaccinated, so they need boosters, which they're rolling out. Their case rates are dropping, will see in a few weeks, but imagine it'll drop to very low there soon. Following the same pattern as everywhere.

It'll get mentioned less, much like the Israel example, where they stopped talking about it after August.

Then it will rise again and everyone will shit themselves and demand boosters and tighter restrictions, rinse and repeat etc...

Yes, maybe. The only alternative I see is no vaccines and a lot more deaths. It's also possible that we need 3/4/5 shots of the vaccine, and then don't need more, like we need for other vaccines.

Don't worry, it won't last forever. Only long enough to get them over the line for the US mid-terms. If they manage that, the world as you know it will be lost forever (it already is, but why not hope). You can cross that bridge when you get to it. How's your weekend going?

It makes too much money and too many people are falling for all the hysteria. This is it forever.

It's not about money. The poor masses think that, and get fooled. The wealthy elite are looking at how much return it makes for how much risk. Money is just a commodity, like sugar. The pandemic pushes transactions through the state, which means zero risk, which means you can use 10X the leverage you would do were you investing in a private company competing in a free market. The elite have no growth, and no brains to compete anymore, so they're out to lower their risk, and make higher returns using leverage instead. They're borrowing the money from you, and they're selling their product to you, with your money, and your grandkids' money, you are a complete clown in this transaction. And everything I just said went over your head as lunatic conspiracy. Why bother.

Its not about money, idiots!

But their using your money to make money, their leveraging that money to make more money.
But it's not about money you thickos.. it's actually about commodities, like sugar or oil.. but on this occasion the commodity is money... Right you get it?
Not about money but their making money off you!

Right we all get it now Dantes bro

Aside from @Atlas of course, who is on the other side of the transaction, joining them, like a fucking heartless cunt.

Gotta feed my kids this Xmas, things are getting harder increased energy bill, increased inflation, increased Social justice warriors, increased communism and increased stupidity.

I'll have to settle for being that little fish that nabs a quick bite when the big fat whales come calling

Decision to take vaccine: correct
Decision to take oxford vaccine: correct
Decision to go for a walk before and after: correct
Decision to whatever... : correct always correct

There's a difference between our decision making processes. Everything I do is correct and I know it is correct and I know exactly why it is correct. Biology is absolute schoolboy shit to me, it's virtually impossible I could ever be stumped by a decision let along make the wrong one. You on the other hand, it's totally beyond your capability, and you have to rely on thoughts and prayers and faith in fauci. You're ok with that. Some of you are less ok with that when it comes to your kids. I won't lie, it does amuse me a little bit when I consider the difference in levels.

This is false. Unless the original dantes on SCM was a different dantes ... b/c you yourself admitted your mistakes!

You posting this shite was incorrect

No, doing everything correctly (i.e. predicting the right things from the right information) is not the same thing as doing everything right (i.e. knowing the right answer all the time because you can see the future / it's been jinxed by a brainless fuck making the outcome a foregone conclusion).

Yah @Halmeister , how's your weekend going?

I had a great weekend.

Dinner with a friend on Friday night at the local winery.

Saturday - local farmers market in the morning, unpacked and assembled the new Traeger smoker in the afternoon, made homemade pizza in the evening then got happily smashed.

Sunday - cheese festival.

Weather was great too.

Just make sure it's not the moderna one, and make sure you go for a walk. Trust me on that. I am a doctor after all.

I would merely point out that regularly consuming carbon deposits on smoked food is worse than catching covid. Give it at least three months before your next pizza. In the meantime steamed vegetables are a far better alternative.

For reference. Glad you had a good weekend though.

Burning Pellets in the Grill

It's barbecue season, and there's a new type of grill that makes meat healthier and taste better, according to the makers. They say that wood-pellet-burning grills use an indirect cooking method, which reduces the formation of carcinogenic chemicals. Cooking meats with charcoal or gas grills can cause the formation of compounds called heterocyclic amines (HCAs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). HCAs are formed in muscle meats cooked at high temperatures. These can cause changes in the eater's genetic material that may increase the risk of cancer, according to the National Cancer Institute. PAHs are carcinogenic substances formed when fat and juices from meats drip onto a fire, causing flames that coat the food above with PAHs. PAHs can also be formed in smoke from charcoal or wood pellets, scientists say.

I made the pizza in the Ooni...

You’re also starting to sound like my missus wanting on about steamed veggies!!!

Next you’ll be telling me to drink more water and less wine or beer.

For reference. Glad you had a good weekend though.

Good job we need to avoid scientific advice particularly when it’s published in MSM.

Also... I’m glad it’s at high temperatures, because the whole point of this smoker is to cook at low temperatures.
