Chinese "Devil Virus" - anyone worried?

Did anyone see that Italy has revised how it categorises a death as a covid death ? It's now one that's directly caused by Covid.

The number of Covid deaths has been reduced from 130,000 to less than 4,000.

You might remember @StevieM, that I predicted when the dust settles we'll realise deaths were massively overstated to justify an intervention.

Where's this? I'm not doubting it, would just love the actual source so I could pass it on.

Please, you wouldn't even be alive to make that decision but for america. The reason you don't want to live there is because you're not american, you'd be out of place and likely unhappy there, since and this might shock you to hear, their culture is different, different people have different cultures, because they're different to each other.

Eh?

What gibberish are you spouting now.

I don’t think Ross actually realises he’s the biggest sheep on here.

For the people saying experts and high profile figures never said the vaccine would stop the spread etc (was Gerry one?), here's a video.

Mainly posting this for my own sanity, and there are more instances of this, I just don't really know how to find them.

4 minutes in is the first clip of Rochelle Walensky of the CDC saying vaccinated people don't carry the virus. After that is Joe Biden saying you can't catch it if vaccinated.

It's our fault for believing them Hal.

Apparently if we read the studies we would have known this vaccine would need the definition of vaccine adjusted so that it could continue to be classified as one.

She said that data suggested it, and the CDC came out soon after and said that she wasn't correct. There definitely was poor communication on it.

Is that the only time someone said that? I don't remember it being a really common narrative. Personally, I don't remember thinking that we'd all take two vaccines and we'd never hear of Covid again.

Come on, she knew what she was saying. And either she's wilfully lying or the people conducting their research are grossly incompetent. Besides, saying something as definitive as that, whether you can poke holes and find wiggle room so they can bactrack (something those kinds of people have been doing for a while now) or not, is irresponsible. She will have known how people will take that. It was a ploy to get more people jabbed. You have a lot more faith in the motives of these people than me. They're not mistaken, nor did the science change or whatever. They've been ramping up people to get this jab the whole time. By any means necessary.

I don't have all instances of all officials saying these things, but when I come across more, I can post them, if you like? I seem to remember Fauci saying something similar.

Oh yeah, I was of the same belief when the vaccine first started rolling out, but only because I'm a cynical pessimist. Most people, though, swallowed up the "get the vaccine and we can go back to normal" narrative. But I'm certain the vast majority of people that bought that aren't as intelligent as you. And the public health officials know that.

The officials sure as hell were careful to avoid any chat about booster shots for the rest of your life, though, and that looks like the most likely outcome now.

By the way, CDC came out 5 months later to point out her mistake. Without admitting to any error in the first place, of course.

It's true that it was misleading. But, it's the first time I've seen that clip, and I don't remember anyone saying it elsewhere. Was it a widespread belief? Had you seen it before?

It's 6 months or so ago now, but I remember there was a lot of talk about the efficacy, nobody ever said it was 100%, 70/80/90% figures were mentioned, depending on which one. And what that meant was explained a lot too. I think that was before Delta came out too, but could be wrong on that.

I think its safe to say that a lot of the narrative regarding the vaccines, efficiency and spread had to be changed after the mutated variants appeared.
Not sure when these comments are from, but anything said before the new mutated variants circulated cant be compared to each other.
The lines got blurred because the virus evolved. People forget that we are finding the solutions while in a pandemic.
Thankfully the vaccine I got has equally strong efficiency against Delta etc.
Which it just proved when unvaccinated kids around me got sick but none of the vaccinated kids or adults did.

Most of us just want to avoid getting very sick or die, and for the same to happen for our loved ones and friends. Not spend our time trying to prove who said what and at what time. The vaccine stops you from getting very sick, lowers the chances of spreading it and makes it possible for society to open up again.

If you dont want to take it. Fine. Thats your choice. I wont try to convince anyone otherwise. But seeing how sick unvaccinated people get I'd say thats a pretty big risk to take.

Of course the above Twitter interaction comes after the public has been told not to listen to Aaron Rodgers and Kyrie Irving about why they're unvaccinated.

Listen to Big Bird instead lads.

94% was quoted. More recently 16% has been quoted.

To be fair... Big Bird is one of your more believable Twitter sources considering some of the ones you’ve previously quoted.

Stevie , would you like to engage with the fact that your reliable sources on the Biden laptop / Russian disinformation story are under indictment by the FBI ?
