I got the Rona last week along with most of one of my friend groups. We went to a festival and I reckon half the people there ended up with it

The cases will be the least of your concerns. Right now the vaccines are fairly effective at preventing death but only marginally effective at preventing infections. This is a disaster. Had the vaccines been totally ineffective at preventing infection, it would have been fantastic, it means the virus will walk on past without even noticing the vaccine, thus without having to mutate. Alas, that's not what we have. Since the vaccine also prevents infection, no matter how small in percentage terms, what that means as cases rise is that mutations to get around the vaccine will be naturally selected for. If they are forced to find ways to get past the vaccine in terms of infection.... well, then you're basically bending over and pulling your trousers down, goading the virus to also get past the death part. When that happens, it will be the end.
