I think that partership had more to do with Gerrards' great interplay than Fernando's (how many assists did he give to teammates?). Even for Spain, he's been quite poor when his finishing isn't on point.

Gerrard on the other hand has formed great partnerships with almost everyone I can think of, when played upfront.

Coz I definitely do.

I really dislike Utd, but I don't hate a football club more than those horrible soulless cunts in blue.

This. I'm no Chav fan but there's no way I could despise anybody, even them, more than those cnuts down the E.Lancs.Rd. The only ones who get anywhere near are the blueslime, and they don't really count.

It's not that sort of thing I hate either of them for; I hate the fans, the shirts, the players etc.

If they win things and we don't that's our fault as far as I'm concerned.

I agree that there's more to hate about Chelsea (actuallt there's nothing to like) but I'm Liverpool thru-and-thru and our pre-eminence in the English game is a huge factor in my hating of United. I didn't even dislike them in the 70's and 80's because they weren't a threat to our records.
 
I'd prefer Chelsea to win things over Utd, for obvious reasons, but even under these circumstances, I just can't will those horrible cockney cunts to score.

I suppose I couldn't will Utd to score if everything was the other way around, but something tells me I would find it a tiny bit easier.

Chelsea supporters sum everything that is wrong with Britain, never mind football.
 
Drogba was the only Chelsea player causing Utd a problem.

Crazy that he was taken off.
