Hiddink would be a great choice.

Maybe the King for the rest of the season, and then go after Jose.
Genius. Lets bring back someone who hasn't managed for about a decade? :🙂
Well, why not. Can't do much worse than we're doing right now.

I'd be extremely surprised if Dalglish got anything more out of this squad than Benitez.

We've got to get away from a 'anyone will do' mentality.

Someone told me a rumour about Kenny being considered as care taker unitl the summer. That why I brought it up.

I'd love Jose as our manager. But there are a lot of good managers out there, and as long as we stay clear of Jurgen Klinsmann I think we'll be alright.

Rafa came in, got read of Ged's failures, and improved us. However I think this is all he can do. We need a change in gaffa to take us up that final notch. To the promised land!

it could be a whole lot worse, very stupid to think that, our owners wanted to bring in Klinsmann at one point lets not forget that

i reckon we should get an elephant to manage us. god, that would be entertaining.

Mourinho would kill what teeny tiny bit of creativity we have left. And with no money to spend, he'd spend more time bitching than managing.

Well, it's time for an ultimatum;

Win the next 3 games or it's out.

Wigan (H), Pompey (A) and Wolves (H)

9 points, no excuses.

Yep, agree with that. But with our form we might struggle big time.

Still, if we can win those games, we can go into the game against Villa with at least SOME confidence.

ultimatums are pointless as the mananger isn't going to be sacked before the end of the season no matter WHAT happens.

I too am far from convinced he would walk but I think, as he seems to be an incredibly stubborn man, his motivation to stay would be more to do with restoring his reputation and pride than any monies he might lose. Despite what people might think about him here I doubt if he would have any problems walking into another similarly well paid job at another club.

How about we ring Réal, on the qt, and say we'll forego any compensation if they want to take him?

After watchin that shower of shite today, change is well and truely needed. I have never seen a team look so fucking lost and devoid of ideas. Second half tactics ended up resort to Carra lump the ball into arsenals half for our one man up front to fight for the ball. One man fucking up front at Anfield. You then look at the guys bench we had 4 defensive players on the bench. Im sorry dossena and insua on the bench. Fuck that fat italian cunt off and put pacheco on there. I bet if Benitez put him on for the last 15 he would of got more effort and attacking from than we have in Lucas's entire anfield carrer. Benitez you claim to love the club. Do the honourable thing and walk before its to late. Because the way we are at the moment i really can see us finishing in the bottom hal of the table. This isn't a temporary blip, this has been like this since august. We really can't afford to finsh outside the top 4 and the owners know that we would be seriously fucked. My worry is, is that the owners gamble and let Benitez spend his way into the top 4 in Jan. Lets say he pisses it up the fucking wall again. I would rather have a new man getting the chance to spend the money.

Talking about who we would bring only one man for the job and it has to be mourinho. This guy has proven with or without money he can win major trophys. He's now looking for the opportunity to build a dynasty somewhere. This is the fella who moulded himself on shankly, the fella who had the liverpool club crest as his screen saver on the phone(according to carras auto). We know about his ego but can you imagine what it would do for his ego to be the first manager to win the leauge for us in over 20 years. How driven he would be to win the leauge.

I have asked this question many times and no one can seem to fucking answer me. Why the fuck does Hiddinks name get mentioned to the top jobs he is fucking shite at club level. His record at domestic level is shit and so is his international record. He's like the plucky loser. In la liga he got sacked twice in a season, The premier leauge everyone goes on about how good he was he improved chelseas postion by one place and won the fa cup. He has never won any of the major leauge titles. He won the european cup in the 80's. I wouldn't him anywhere near the Liverpool job. The other thing is he's 65 so what a couple of seasons and he's gone.

Rant Over

When everyone wakes up, someone give me a run down of how we're gonna sell this skint sack of shit to one of the aforementioned managers.

I would love Mourinho, but as Mark says, he is many things but 'idiot' is not one of them

Why would he come to a club that in summer could only afford player salary increases and a super-annuated Greek loser?

Why would Mourinho leave Inter mid-season and top of Serie A? As mentioned earlier he is no idiot.

The one thing you all seem to be failing to ask is why would Mourinho leave Inter and come here? It's not like he's an idiot!

Eh? Where d'ya here that?

Mourinho is not having the best of times in Italy. The press hate, the fans hate him and even some of his own palyers are turning on him. Over here though he's fucking loved the press massage his ego, i reckon if he turned Liverpool he would be idolised. Something I reckon he craves. The fans loved him at Chelsea but what did they do when he was rumoured to be going nothing, what did we do 6000 fans marched to anfield he would love the adulation of the liverpool fans, Yes the club is in the shit but the name still means something, this was job Mourinho really wanted before he went to Chelsea. I really think he would jump at the chance to manage us regardless of the situation.

I don't think it would of, didn't parry and moores think he was to up himself. Hence why they offered ot to Benitez.
