Watching Swansea vs Leeds and Scot Sinclair caught my eye. There's got be talent that we could poach before they start costing 10m plus?

is he the ex chelsea guy,? sounds like the next wayne routledge to me, looks good in the championship but meh in the premier league

Has no one noticed Tarrabt at QPR.

No topflight experience but by good he's been special for them this season. Bit of a wild card but he has creativity flowing through him. Unusual for a Warnock team.

+1 spion.

Someone, I think pasim* was hawking him a few months back and he's looked like a very talented footballer onto few occasions I've seen him since.

Although I think he would cost circa 10m.

No, wasn't me. I usually try and pinpoint some players who are "under the radar" comparitvely speaking and Taraabt has been highlighted as a potential top player for a while now. He can be a lazy fucker and he's incredibly selfish but he certainly has great ability. Apparantly Fergiscum was planning a "shock" move for him recently but was unimpressed with how selfish Taraabt was in a game televised on SKY and he didn't bid.

He has the same attitude and ability as Cantona and there is a chance that he could do a similar job as Cantona for a Premier league team and have a talismanic affect. Trouble is he'd cost at least £12m and he could just end up being a lazy, selfish substitute.

Scott Sinclair is decent but not an option for a team with top 4 aspirations.

Are you pasim, dancing brave?
[/quote]

Yeah, I was Pasim by day and DB by night (and weekends) due to log-in problems at home but now I'm DB 24/7 because I forgot my login for Pesam/Pasim.

Brizzle, QPR loaned Taraabt on a couple of occasions last season but signed him permanently this summer. I can't find it listed how much they paid but I remember at the time being quite surprised how little it was - I think the rumour was about £2m although I'd expect they might have to pay a bonus fee if they get promoted which seems likely.

If I had to predict which Championship players would be most likely successful in the EPL I would say...............

1. Andy King (Leicester)
2. Ashley Williams (Swansea)
3. Darren Pratley (Swansea)
4. Adel Taraabt (QPR)
5. Nicky Maynard (Bristol City)
6. Danny Graham (Watford)

Of the younger crowd; Wickham (Ipswich), Zaha (Palace) & Barton (Preston) all look excellent prospects.

I know a couple of QPR fans and while that Taarabt kid is said to take the piss in terms of his dribbling ability etc. they reckon he also takes the piss in how much of a ballhog he is.

Apparently there was a game a little while ago where he tried to take on the entire defense when there were other players in good positions, he lost the ball, didn't track back and the other team broke and scored, losing them the game. They didn't like him much

Kenny Dalglish is lining up a double swoop on Crystal Palace for wonderkids Wilfried Zaha and Jon Williams.

Liverpool boss Dalglish will target the two teenagers in the summer as part of a bid to harvest the best young talent at Anfield.

Palace striker Zaha was recently called up to the England under-19 squad and has been regularly watched by Liverpool's network of scouts in his first full season.

The 18-year-old has emerged as one of the most highly-rated youngsters outside the Premier League and is also admired by Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle.

Wales under-21 international Williams is another kid to roll off the Selhurst Park production line and Dalglish is already an admirer.

Williams, 17, is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Eagles but his reputation has soared after impressing for the reserves.

Liverpool are keen to build a team for the future and are preparing to pounce at the end of the season.

5. Nicky Maynard (Bristol City)

Decent shout. Good replacement for N'gog as 4th choice striker this summer?

I'm a huge fan of Maynard's Whitey and reckon he could make it at a top 4 EPL team.

Regarding Binny's post above, Zaha would cost us half as much (I reckon) as Wickham and has every bit as much a chance of being a top player as Wickham although they're totally different types of players.

How can they not like him much?
With him this season I doubt they would be in the top 2, he's been their best player and driving force in the attack.

They love him Rubans but find him hugely frustrating sometimes because he doesn't always seem to play for the team.

Just read that he's leading the assists chart with 19, 9 ahead of 2nd place. (Other sites had him at 15 and 5 ahead though). Interestingly, he was brought in to Tottenham by Comolli.

PALACE chairman Steve Parish said he was bemused at reports linking Liverpool with the Eagles' talented youngsters Wilfried Zaha and Jon Williams, writes Daniel Jones.

According to a story in one national paper yesterday Kenny Dalglish is lining up a move for the teenage pair at the end of the season.

But Parish said he had no contact from anyone at Anfield and insisted neither player were for sale.

"I have heard absolutely nothing about it," he told the Advertiser. "I don't understand where these stories are coming from. Both of those players are under long contracts and are going nowhere.

"If Liverpool really are interested perhaps it would be better for them to pick up the phone and give us a call.
"

Zaha has caught the eye of several Premier League clubs this season after impressing in his breakthrough year at Palace.

The talented young winger has been a regular in the Eagles line-up and has been one of the finds of the Championship season.

Wales U21 star Williams, however, is yet to even make his Palace debut.
