After the run we've been on I can't believe people can still be so sure that we'll beat Debrecan.

Indeedy, if Lucas starts tonight (and he will) my bet in the betting forum (where I have doubled my money so far this season) will be a £10 lay of the Liverpool victory (i.e. betting against us winning). My potential liability will be only £3.30 with £10 being the potential winnings.

I don't particularly like betting against us but it has proved very profitable this season and it is my silver lining to this dark, dark cloud we are under.

Pesam that is bold. You should never bet against your own team. Blood money.

You just cannot justify that...

Laget: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Insua, Mascherano, Lucas, Aurelio, Kuyt, Gerrard, Ngog. Res: Cavalieri, Spearing, Dossena, Aquilani, Benayoun, Kyrgiakos, Skrtel.

Well done.

I'd just like to say, Fuck off with your shite team selections Rafa! If you can't pick Aquilani for this match, what the fuck is the fucking point with signing him.

Jeezzess Christ, Mascher and Lucas have 1 win in 10 games, wouldn't hurt with a change of personel.

I wonder what Alberto is thinking.

Well well, COME ON YOU REDS!! Slowest team ever, yooohoooo!!

I actually think that's a decent-ish looking side.

Johnson is going to give us so much more flair and having Aurelio and Agger back will probably make us see a lot of the ball.

Hopefully Aqua will get 30 minutes or so when we're cruising 3-0.

that can't be it surely.

how does aurelio start ahead of yossi? weneed to win this don't we?

why is aquilani still not start, this is an ideal game for him?

what does dirk have to do to get dropped/rested?

wow - i guess we'll find out pretty soon what is going on in rafa's head

If Aquilani isn't ready, he isn't ready.

Rafa knows all the details, we don't - criticising him for it is baseless.

If the situations were reversed you'd say he was prioritising the CL, so lets say he's prioritising the league.

I think it's actually more the fact that Yossi was coming off an injury, and played as much as he did over the weekend due to injuries elsewhere. He probably doesn't want to lose him again to injury, so doesn't want him playing lots of minutes in quick succession.

Aquilani isn't considered fit enough to start a game. Confine your criticism to the fact that we bought a player for whom this is the case in late November, I think there's plenty there without double taxing him. He should be making it a point to get him 30 minutes at the very least, and that may well have been the plan last game.

prioritising what in the league, 4th? barca 2 nil now - the special one in trouble.

Anyone see the build up play to Barcelona's 2nd goal?

Sensational.

Xavi's pass to Dani Alves was absolute world class.

Is Clichy out too?

Armand Traore must be in line for a few games so. (If he isn't on loan)

Arsenal shat left backs there for a stage. Cole, Clichy, Traore, Gibbs.
