Jose loses to Basel - Rafa beats Dortmund. A good day for football..

Jose has lost to Everton and Basel in a week. Didn't Rafa beat them both?

Can't resists..

Not sure how Napoli are going to feel when Chelsea come and try to get Rafa to save their season.

(stolen)

Have to say Celtic were very unlucky in the San Siro tonight.

Limited Milan to very little and deserved to go away with at least a point.

I was watching coverage of Mourinhos pre-Basel press conference and the fawning over him by the English journo's was embaressing. He could say anything and they just lapped it up, giggling adoringly like school girls sat in front of Justin Bieber.

At the time I thought, he looks too comfortable and arrogant (even by his standards), it's all been such a love-in since he returned and I had a sneaky feeling something was going to go wrong for him tonight.
Off the back of his loss to Everton, this is very Un-Jose like, maybe, just maybe that spark that made him the "Special One" is dimming, it ended badly at Madrid for him and allied to that old superstition of never going back to your old team, maybe he won't be as formidable as before. You could also throw in the dubious signing of E'too whilst loaning out Lukaku.

Made up for Rafa. Bloody excellent win against Dortmund .. and Klopp sent to the stands ! Rafa may have a very very good season with Napoli.

So Basel have beaten the scum, chelsea and spurs in the last few seasons? Not bad. They're all cunts.

No idea why Mourinho came back, being sacked twice by the same club is not going to be a record he will want.
Chelsea still play dull football, silly decision.
Mourinho is a dick but Abrhamovich is a bigger dick for bringing him back.

Mourinho looked fucked last night on his post match presser. He genuinely looked ill or something. Maybe it's getting on top of him the weight of expectation and that their team isn't as balanced as he'd like it to be, and he's expected to win every game and competition they're in.
They've got no proper centre forward to score their goals, and their wings and AM options are a bunch of weightweight wankers.

It was an off night for Dortmund. During the play for Napoli's first goal ref didn't allow Subotic to re-enter the pitch after being patched up which resulted in Klopp snapping and being sent off. Add to that a red for Weidenfeller plus an injury to Hummels and it sure was a night to forget for the Germans. Anyways, I bet the 4th official's underwear needed changing during half time(hope the gif works):

Klopp is fucking ace, if anything ever happens to Brendan, I want him in more than anyone.

Good points by some re: Jose ... I'll add a few more things:

1) The 'us against the world' mentality isn't there. It was key to his success last time.
2) His success last time depended a lot -imo- in the excellent Carvalho and Mkalele ... He doesn't have that, and it's going to cause problems ...
3) Too much positive media has go to his head - he needs to be an enemy for him to succeed. There will be some funny stuff coming up ...
4) His attitude re: Mata is a joke ... I sincerely hope if we're in teh top 4 come Jan, FSG tell ROdgers "Here's 40 millino for Mata, enjoy"
