Fair point but I guess we are short on midfielders and need someone who is more likely to be able to come in and settle quickly. So PL experience would hopefully help.

The top 10 players in the league, 8 of them came from abroad with little to no Prem experience. KDB and Salah are 2 of those players..

That makes sense. Matip and Gomez won’t be going anywhere soon which will help ease any incoming player. The UEFA cup games provides a perfect opportunity to bed people into our play.
