Did anyone on here head to the ground or round town last night?

I’ve seen some scenes around the pier head including the video of the firework striking the Liver Building. It also looks like a tip round there this morning. There’s also unconfirmed reports of a stabbing. What is wrong with people?

Personally, i don’t see point as no pubs are open and there isn’t anywhere to piss.
 
The pier head is an absolute shithole. If the club has any sense they'd organise a club funded litter pick.
 
They had plenty of that. One mate turned up with a backpack with three of these four pint beer grenade things and a five litre cask that the brewery have started doing since the lockdown. As you can imagine there were an assortment of other stimulants readily available at the site of worship. Not me on a Thursday thanks, even if it was a Thursday I was supposed to be in Glastonbury.
 
I was pissed after that bbq, & for a split second considered it, but decided against it. Had I been sober enough to think sensibly I'd have suggested those of who live this in this area go for a distanced sit on the beach & a quiet bevvy & contemplate & chat about the win. But I wasn't so I didn't.

Sat & watched sky sports & got drunk, & explained to Luke why it meant so much to me & all the 'old people' crying on telly.

This is a fine activity... cheers... I'm fucking made up delighted, tearfully ecstatically happy but fuck getting that virus thanks... and that Liver building is a nice building and shouldn't be burnt... knobheads...

Yeah man... it was fully dim... what pissed me off was they were showing it on the news so basically inviting people who've been locked up for 3 months to a party... IF they had any imagination one phone call to Jurgen and ask him to appeal to fans to stay at home on the Telly... loads of Reds would obey the manager.

I seen on the news the beaches were all covered in shit. Sometimes literally. It seems that people have forgotten how to behave or something.
 
The pier head pyro party the day after the title was won had been planned for ages. I know it was a big thing on my kid's socials for a while.

Whatever anyone thinks about it, the reason we end up with 50,000 traveling thousands of miles with no tickets, the reason we have the best atmosphere in the league, the reason Liverpool is what it is, the reason that even though it's been 30 years since we've won the league it's always deep down felt like it's still ours, it's the same reason a few thousand kids are out causing mayhem in town. You mightn't like it but it's all part of the same phenomenon
 
The pyro at the Liver building was bang out of order. But the actions of a few dickheads has now tarnished us. I see the fume have exploded over us, not that I give a give 2 fucks about them.

Ive not been on there in a few days. Are they fuming over Bournemouth beach too?

Fireworks being fired at buildings isn’t having a laugh, it is an absolute piss take. Leaving shit behind is also a piss take.
 
Every club in the league bar us has a topic constantly near the top of their forum wondering how they get our atmosphere. I think in most cases it's a cop out to say one set of people is jealous of another and that's why they're angry, but in this case it's a fact.

The dickheads firing that flare at the lover buildings aside, what the fuck does anyone expect?

The beaches were packed with thousands for no reason except The Lying Rag was out FFS.

Had we been in full lockdown I'd expect it would have been much less busy, but when the fans see every other cunt breaking lockdown for no reason that actually matters why the fuck wouldn't they.

Just had this convo with a good freind, our sentiments exactly
Apparently that firework wasn't aimed directly.. they had set off a few to go away from the building, that particular one strayed..

How true this is anyone's guess..

But the state of the pier head this morning is what you see on Crosby beach and freshfields in Formby week in week out during the summer.

Same irresponsible selfish dickheads

It's really not a case of not liking it, its a case of not wanting fellow fans to die and people they meet to die... it's basic common sense... there was a bigger spike in town due to the Atletico game wasn't there... so now what? Thousands of pissed up folk deliriously singing into the air when app. 1 in 1500 has the virus and it is contagious as fuck. We've all spent the last 3 months in our own gaffes for a reason.

YES we all want to celebrate like fucking crazy and it's genuinely shit we can't do it properly but the perspective is somebody will have been accidentally killing somebody, that ain't a trade-off in my eyes at least... there is no argument to be had there... but fuck it... too late now.. water under the bridge...

I'm not stating a preference, I'm just saying it's all part of the same joined up thing.

It's like saying fuck wasps, so we wipe out all the wasps but for some reason now there aren't any fish and it's going dark at noon. You gotta just accept wasps have their place and get on with it.

Acknowledging that some folk are dumb.... did that years ago... and yes having a club where thousands show up without tickets thousands of miles away... we are and have always been a passionate bunch I'm just saying being passionate doesn't justify risking your own and other peoples lives. Opinions and arseholes eh...

One definitely wasn’t a stray. The video is all over social media.

I’ve said the same thing about the state of the beach recently and those people who leave it like that are dickheads.

I don’t have an issue with people congregating as the governments view is basically do the fuck what you want.
