Cecil: Good or Bad for LFC?

So, who here thinks Cecil should be in the position he is in at LFC?

Let's not bother with an anonymous poll, let's hear what you think about this mendacious twat who has no LFC or footballing credentials *whatsofuckingever*
 
Nice impartial tone to the question.

I have no real opinion on him at all yet. He'll be judged on his actions and achievements, I think, and so far he's not really done very much, good or bad, on which to make a judgment.

I didn't think he was the best thing since sliced bread (as lots of people did) at the beginning, just because he spoke a few languages and wasn't Rick Parry, and I don't believe he's the devil incarnate now, just because he sacked Rafa and was economical with the truth re transfer funds. In fact, that's 1-1 as far as I'm concerned, because Rafa needed sacking.
 
Bunny summed that up very well. I think however he, as Broughton, gets far to much stick from Liverpool fans. It's amazingly strong on mental places like Rawk. But as far as I'm concerned overall he's done a good job.
 
He's brought in a vastly improved sponsorship deal, which (a) we badly need and (b) isn't the action of someone out to do the club down. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt unless/until he proves he doesn't deserve it.
 
Well, as we know, some of the shit spouted about Parry bordered on lunacy, so I'm just bemused as to why Cecil gets such an easy ride
 
I still don't quite understand why he's being painted in such a bad light.

He wouldn't be the first suit to be evasive in the media or to be caught out promising things he shouldn't be to fans that will hold him to it.

So far we've done very well commercially and the owners are going sooner rather than later. There is a very good argument to be made for sacking Rafa and whilst the replacement may be questionable, it'd be a bit unfair to blame him for our club being such an unappealing mess at the moment.

So aside from the fact that he didn't get on with Rafa and SOS hate him, what's exactly the problem?

Taken several months to send out a prospectus (if he's even done that yet) to interested parties when he said the sale of the club should be a matter of months. So he's been slow to move on his primary objective meaning he's been incompetent. To speed the sale he should be replaced with a business executive with more time and drive.
 
He seems like any other suit to me.
I dont really have an opinion nor do i care what type of man he is.

The investment thing that keeps getting thrown at him is grossly unfair though given that we KNOW there were at least two 100m offers of investment that he took to the Yanks for them to reject.

All the other 'Negative' points are full of holes too. He may be the devil hes painted to be but there hasnt been anything to make me worry just yet.

I've been reading Brendan's bullshit about Purslow for weeks now and I have yet to read a straight up answer to this question. You won't fucking get one either, nothing really specific anyway, just the same old tired fucking bullshit when it comes to this topic.

Surely there are SOME sane posters over on rawk?
Could we not trade Brendan, Asbo, Spiderniel and all the other little SOS black clouds for like one decent poster.....or a bucket of fish heads or summat.
 
The owners are a pair of whopping gobshites but there are even bigger twats who 'support' our club at the moment.
