Caice-d'oh!

It’s musical chairs, the music is about to stop and there’s only Caicedo and Lavia realistically left to sit on.

what’s the deal with being homegrown though? I thought that was a big thing with Lavia, does it leave us effectively needing a homegrown defender if we magically get caicedo and still want a defender?

Chelsea have had more success than us by some distance over the last 10 years and are in London and I’d imagine Klopp has a rep as a very very hard task master. Not everyone would be up for that.
What the fuck are you on about?! Like hell they have.

If we couldn't afford Bellingham how have we suddenly got the money for Caicedo? This is complete nonsense.
Not that I disagree with your point, but we are up £55million in unexpected sales compared to where we were when we gave up on Bellingham.

Has there been any fan pressure really? Obviously beyond forums, which I doubt the club pay have even noticed.
Social Media is what I am referring to. People mobilise on social media, I doubt they would want protests outside Chelsea on Sunday. Who knows? But I find it odd that they've found £100m somehow

Caicedo and Bellingham will be a totally different total with wages and agent fees I reckon.
Jude is on 250-300k per week. Caicedo will be 100k ish I reckon.

Are people mobilising on social media? To demand the signing of Caicedo?

It's a genuine question. I'm not a big social media user to be honest.

I would be really really surprised if there are protests outside games because the club has signed 2 rather than 3 midfielders.

It seems like Liverpool have the funds in place to complete a club record deal for Moises Caicedo, should they get a chance to land him. -

Liverpool COULD hijack Chelsea's deal for Moises Caicedo. -

Brighton will sell Caicedo for 100m, then go buy someone for 15m who will be just as good.

We might as well sign their entire scouting department since we don't seem to have one. Will be cheaper.

I think its more like what they did at the Arse and Man U. You appease fans by buying someone. There's people saying they're not going to buy merch etc.. Some hiring a plane to fly a banner saying "FSG OUT" on Sunday.
I am not claiming it did but asking the question. I mean its cheaper to pay the Saints £5m extra and get Lavia then to pay £100m and get Moises.

Mate - your logic is all over the place here.

Doubling isn’t massive regardless of units - it’s one - it’s the lowest whole amount the figure can increase above “the same”.

Does that not mean Chelsea are a team living in past glories now - as you keep pushing this further out to try to validate your really flimsy point.

You’re digging yourself more into a hole Dreamie.

If you’d stuck with London and added they’ll likely pay him more £££’s than us you’d be right.

I don't necessarily disagree with Pat, but you get a like for that second line.

Liverpool remain in talks with Brighton over Moises Caicedo should a move to Chelsea not materialise. Financial terms and payment structure of a transfer discussed. If LFC receive encouragement from the midfielder, they are ready to act. Chelsea still seen as favourites.

So it’s back to Lavia then

Not a chance. Winning the EPL is extremely difficult once as we have proven over the last 30 years. There is light years between winning it once and twice. It’s why so many of us hate the fact Klopps first great side only have one to it’s name.
Every team bar City is living on past glories now, that wasn’t the point. The point was it’s very clear why some players would be more interested in Chelsea as a destination over us and ‘recent’ success is just one of them, along with the other points as they have won more than us.
No hole to be dug, it’s clear as day.
