Caice-d'oh!

This just sounds like tit for tat nonsense to me. We all know Chelsea want Caicedo and we want Lavia. Sounds like one club sniffed around the other's player, just for nuisance value and to drive the other to overpay, and then the other did the same in retaliation. We might have been in cahoots with. Brighton to keep them sweet after taking Mac Alister for less than he's worth.
Not clear who went first but my money would be on us being the "tit".

Did you just say Chelsea have been sniffing round our Lavia????

We all know how reactionary Boehly is, and I bet their Lavia bid (also short of Sotons valuation) was after we had registered our interest in Caicedo.

I think Caicedo sadly has his heart set on Chelsea, but we'll get Lavia.
Exactly how I see it too

Caicedo is a better and more mature player than Lavia right now, but I'm quite irritated at the idea that Caicedo prefers Chelsea to Liverpool.

Is he stupid or what? Come to Liverpool and play with Klopp, one of the best managers of his generation, or go to a plastic club who've sold about 20 players in the last 12 months and change managers every two years.
Chelsea have had more success than us by some distance over the last 10 years and are in London and I’d imagine Klopp has a rep as a very very hard task master. Not everyone would be up for that.

Something something, Family, London, Money

They’ve won the League once and the Europa League once more than us in the last 10 years.

That’s not what I would call “some distance”.

So double our league titles and European titles?
And if you stretch it back just a little more it’s 2 extra titles 2 extra fa cups and an extra CL.

Doubling of 1 still makes it 1 more Dreamie - it doesn’t change the distance.

If you have to stretch it back a little further to emphasise your point, then you’re devaluing your point.

What if we change it to last 5 years - what does that make it look like?

They’re also a fucking graveyard for players and sell/loan/release/kill the ones that they dont like anymore. No stability whatsover and they’re also a plastic cunt of a club.

Try drinking less coffee, Samuel.

Don’t forget… Dreamie likes “cunt of a clubs”.

😀

Doubling is massive regardless of units.
When he was growing up following EPL Chelsea were a teaming winning the big prizes. We were living off past glories and only finally got over the line recently and have since gone backwards with no clear funds to get back. It’s clear why Chelsea could appear a better destination.

Mate - your logic is all over the place here.

Doubling isn’t massive regardless of units - it’s one - it’s the lowest whole amount the figure can increase above “the same”.

Does that not mean Chelsea are a team living in past glories now - as you keep pushing this further out to try to validate your really flimsy point.

You’re digging yourself more into a hole Dreamie.

If you’d stuck with London and added they’ll likely pay him more £££’s than us you’d be right.

If we get Moises, how much is that down to fan pressure?
Er, none.

The fan pressure has existed with FSG for 10 years, they really don't care (much) about the fans.

If anything it'll be coming from internally, most notably Klopp kicking and screaming wtf's going on....you gotta remember this is a very loyal man who would've felt the emotional impact of losing Milner Hendo and Fab.
