Burnley vs Liverpool Match Thread

I think we need to bring Firmino on ASAP and get some order back in to the front line.

I miss can marauding forward

Now he's a lazy shit cunt
Klopp said the other day in his post match comments that Can played perfectly & did exactly what he wanted him to.

He barely moved out of the centre circle that match, so it seems this what klopp wants from him.

This is FootBore zzz from us. Burnley looks more dangerous and more likely to score.

I'm only mildly tired and not hungover and that was still a tough 45 minutes.
Everyone else fucked off home & Bex went to bed at 2am. I had a lot of alcohol still to drink, a gram of Mdma in one pocket & a gram of flake in the other. If it wasnt for the magic of benzos I wouldn't have had any sleep whatsoever!

We have 80 million pounds of talent in Ox, Lallana and Mane out there. I have some sympathy for Solanke but they should be able to do the job against Burnley.

Hahaha oh dear. I remember those days well. After an appearance at a party, we went out for a late fancy dinner and then picked up our boy around 1245 and promptly went to bed. Had a total of 4 drinks counting a nightcap upon returning home. How things have changed. Not THAT long ago I'd have been shoving things up my hooter til it wouldn't absorb anymore.

I'd like to see Ings on second half. Frankie just isn't good enough in front of goal despite his work rate.

Ings offers that work rate, with more experience at this level & better finishing.

Mane needs to produce today.

He's even playing on his favoured right hand side. No excuses.

Similarly, Solanke should have scored. You don't get many chances against this lot. You have to be ruthless against them (see Kane hattrick).

I'll grow up one day. Maybe. Probably not actually.

For once I got Klopp's rotation almost right, except for Grujic and Gomez playing at LB instead of Robbo. So we barely created anything, but with a few tweaks I still think we can squeak out a few better chances and a goal. I would get Robertson on the pitch at half-time, without him we are getting no penetration down the left. Also I would get Firmino on with at least 30 minutes to go for Solanke. I think if it had been Firmino on the end of some of the passes Solanke has received (but couldn't quite control), he would have done something more dangerous with them. Wonder if Ings will get a chance to show what he can do against his former team.

No great surprise. They're at home, they're having their best season in decades, they're a fiercely-drilled side and they're organised to frustrate us. It's how it is. We need to do much better, but quite a few good sides have been in this position here this season.

Ox and Lallana are both complementary players and it shows everyone they are asked to lead the squad. Lallana in particular shows his value when he is a cog in a well functioning machine - he makes everyone else plate better - but struggles to impact when he is the centrepiece.

Need a moment of brilliance from Mane Or we don't score today.

If you use the word impact as a verb again I will hunt you down.

How about they both complement Mane?
Or bring on Firmino.
Solanke pissed me off royaly with that missed chance.

This game is making me more hungover.

Went to bed at 7 after somehow bagging a taxi on the dock road outta nowhere. Invisible Wind Factory is fucking boss though. Found some mad place called Wav nearby. All the dealers loved me jumper so kept offering me freebies hahaha.

Anyway yeah while typing all that we've done fuck all so

Whoever is responsible for organizing 2 fixtures in 48 hours, over the new year period, deserves taking out to his back garden and being shot with the balls of his own shite!
