Lallana is trying, but need to see more from Oxlade, these are the games he should be taking control of.
 
I love watching football over the Christmas period but when you're only giving them 48 hours between matches the quality goes down.

Only 20 minutes gone but we're seeing matches without the best players in the league because of it and I don't just mean this match.

Yeah, haven't paid much attention to other games for obv reasons but I did see that Stoke pretty much threw their match against Chelsea to save players for today.

We may complain about it, but for smaller sides with less strength in depth it's an even bigger nightmare.
 
Again, 50/50 challenge, defender falls over, so give him a free kick, there was zero foul there.
 
I think the key to this game will be 60mins plus, surely this Burnley team will start to feel it then.

Yea that's the other one I was thinking of, along with Vardy and Mahrez bring subbed off against us.

If Stoke are in a relegation fight come April and we start playing kids in a match that is relevant to them I'm pretty sure itd be a major taking point. But they down tools against Chelsea and its barely mentioned.

Sideways, or try a risky ball through to Mane who is trying to run

That's the only option 99% of the time he has.

Lallana, solanke & Chamberlain all need to be offering more options for him.
 
This the type of game where the likes of Oxlade, Mane and Lallana are supposed to show how they also can win us games.

Unfortunately his careless passing is getting more common though.

Bit better in the last 5. We're trying to figure out a way through one of the stingiest defences in the league.
