I didn't realise I'd stooped low lol. Seriously, I thought that was quite reasonable, all things considered.
It's not about wanting one form of opinion, it's about what posters bring to the forum. I hate to use Rafa4pm as an example, he's incredibly pro-Rafa but at least he contributes to the forum and sees reason, and if he doesn't you can rely on him to make a joke of it, or himself, tongue-in-cheek and all that. This guy has no endearing quality whatsoever.
And as I posted amidst the fracas in the post on the GC forum, for all the abuse thrown around by Bren and Ryan (for example), it's negligible given both are intelligent enough to contribute quality posts to the forum.
For the gazillionth and last time, it's not about cliques, it's not about mates, it's not about one rule for one and one rule for another, it's about what you contribute to the forum.
Could it be any plainer?

This post should be a sticky and should be required reading for new members of the forum.
I've been a member of many other forums, and the best ones are always the ones that rule by the guidelines you indicated, Mark. All order of annoying, stupid things can be tolerated as long as you contribute meaningfully in some way. I honestly can't see one benefit to having rage around. It's good to hear from multiple viewpoints as it can lead to interesting conversations, but his is completely one-sided and doesn't foster any intelligent discourse.
