I don't like Slot.
Solid enough, seem to be adapting to 'Slotball' ok. Diaz decent, Gravy sounds 2nd have, Ali had little to do but showed up when it mattered.
Not sure on the whole Slot and Trent thing, but if that was a dressing down on the bench I don't think that'll win many plaudits.

I know we're only two games in but this has stuck out for me too. We seem to be way more assured and calm at the back, but also more methodical going forward. We played some sexy stuff today too. Encouraging!

Large periods of being boringly efficient, but there fleeting moments of scintillating play. Both are equally pleasing. We're keeping the ball well, Brentford posed very little threat and we largely matched their strengths when we needed to. Slot ball will extend the hearts of many people, but much bigger tests to come.
