I don't think there is any doubt he took the TUE's to enhance his performance in three of the most important rides of his life. However, he did not technically 'cheat' as he was allowed to do so. Personally I would have more respect for him if he stopped playing the victim and admitted that whilst it was in his remit to take the drugs in hindsight it was a mistake. He has basically played the game and got caught.
Shame really as his whole career is tainted and his reputation in shatters.
