Boxing please

Make no mistake about it this fight will be just as close as the first was, 100% this goes the distance as both are too skilled. The reality of it is had Fury not fell into the ropes, the fight would’ve ended in a split draw. A winnable fight for either guy.

The ref saved him from it being stopped.

Congrats to Usyk, rightful winner. More decisive this time round. Those cards were all bang on. One of the best to ever do it.

Dubois can fuck off getting in the ring at the end. Parker will beat him.

I think that’s the end of both Usyk and Fury. Neither have anything else to fight for.

Usyk isn't going away. He looks as good as ever.

Usyk Opetaia baby.

Fury AJ should be made now, bragging rights.

That’s all they’ve got left.

Who would Usyk risk it against? He would destroy Parker who I think is too clever for Dubois. He wouldn’t drop back to cruiser. He’s one of the top 5 richest Ukrainians. Just leave it lad.

Usyk isn't a man who fears losing, I doubt the risk factor even enters his mind. There isn't anyone who can beat him at crusier or heavy so why would he now decide to retire? I'd say he's got another 4-5 fights left in him if he wants it. Keep taking on the biggest and best challenges and right now Opetaia is the king of the cruiserweights.

Absolutely right he doesn’t fear losing. However, he’s a clever man. He knows he could be knocked out in a single punch by a heavyweight. The drop in money from the Joshua/Fury fights will make him go I don’t think so.

I know the grand sum of fuck all by boxing but I was surprised the commentators were surprised at the scores. I felt the scores were a fair reflection. Fury had no real answer to him and Usyk showed very little weaknesses throughout. Fury had some decent body shots but I felt he was too inactive and passive throughout. You could tell it was going to the judges by the second round.

Worth nothing the guy who scored 117-111 Fury is a troll, and the 5 that scored it for Fury were Fury himself, Tommy, Paris, John and Hughie.

He was like a scalded ex walking round with that score card. Even DAZN agreed with the result.

I just hope for his sake, he won't go off the rails and sink into dark depression again.

Plus he's got a bigger family now, kids are older and lots at stake.

Fury's announced his retirement (again).

Or in other words, he's left in to Turki to knock on his door with a 200m offer to fight AJ in the summer.

By the way the Beterbiev Bivol 2 card is the best I've ever seen, every fight on there is worth watching.

Daniel Dubois has withdrawn from his IBF world heavyweight title defence against Joseph Parker on Saturday after falling ill.

The British boxer was evaluated by a doctor on Thursday, according to a report in the Ring magazine, but is unable to compete. The 27-year-old will be replaced by heavyweight contender Martin Bakole, a dangerous proposition for Parker at short notice.

I like the look of the rest of the card.

Shakur Stevenson vs Josh Padley — For Stevenson’s WBC lightweight title

Carlos Adames vs Hamzah Sheeraz — For Adames’ WBC middleweight title

Vergil Ortiz Jr vs Israil Madrimov — For Ortiz Jr’s WBC world interim super welterweight title

Zhilei Zhang vs Agit Kabayel — For the vacant WBC interim heavyweight title

Joshua Buatsi vs Callum Smith — For Buatsi’s WBO light heavyweight interim title

It's a cracking card from top to bottom, well worth the £20. Bakole is a hell of a replacement at short notice, but I think his fight with Ajabga was also pulled so he must've been in camp and sparring anyway, arguably a tougher fight for JP.

Shame about Schofield too, was looking forward to seeing him but Padley's earned his shot after his impressive win last time out, one of the biggest upsets in recent time.

The main event kicks off at 11. Here’s the rest of the the predicted times

Joseph Parker vs Martin Bakole (9:40pm) - for Parker’s WBO interim heavyweight title

Shakur Stevenson vs Josh Padley (8:35pm) - for Stevenson’s WBC lightweight title

Carlos Adames vs Hamzah Sheeraz (7:35pm) - for Adames’ WBC middleweight title

Vergil Ortiz Jr vs Israil Madrimov (6:40pm) - for Ortiz Jr’s WBC interim super-welterweight title

Zhilei Zhang vs Agit Kabayel (5:40pm) - for the vacant WBC interim heavyweight title

Joshua Buatsi vs Callum Smith (4:45pm) - for Buatsi’s WBO interim light-heavyweight title

Still no ringwalks for the first big 1......going to be a long night out there.

Ok here we goooooo.

Very good opening round - hard one to score, both with some eye catching stuff.

2nd round much like the first.

Very good fight this. Got it 2-2.

Smith cut just above his eye, doesn't look too bad. Got him 3-2 up. His body work is beautiful.

Go on Callum!!!!!!!! Finish it!!!!

Fucking hell what a 6th round. 4-2 Smith still.

A strong 10th for Buatsi. Both look knackered. 7-3 Smith for me.

Both fighters like blocking punches with their faces.

If Buatsi wins this round it’ll be a draw.

We'll do well to have a better fight in the night than that. That was top drawer. Smith shows he can still hang.

116-112 Smith for me. 100% a Smith win.
