Boxing please

"Thanks very much for having me"

He didn't invite you to dinner, big man.

Sorcha Cusak should do a caravan ad.

(I originally thought it was Caroline Aherne until I googled it)

Haha! Just caught this - Bollocks I missed it. Anyone know of anywhere online where I can watch it? I think I'll skip the aerosmith number though..😉

Well what an awful fight. About a dozen clean punches in the entire bout. Fury intent on clowning his way to the title(s) and Wlad utterly uninterested in ko'ing him, or hitting him at all with his right. I seriously think/thought his right hand was broken or something, he must have a problem with it surely.
You have Canelo v Cotto last weekend where both are proper athlete's and proper boxers, and they both go in there to win and box, then this weekend in the shining heavyweight division you have this freak show. Disappointing for the sport of boxing.

I've been way more impressed with the way Fury's spoken to the media since the fight than I was with anything which happened during the fight.

Wonder if Klitschko will activate the rematch clause. Does he have enough left in the tank to want to go again?

Yeah, the Cotto fight was ace. I was watching nbc coverage earlier in the night & their three under are fights were all better than this 'fight'.

Worst heavyweight champion in history?

He's said he wants the immediate rematch. It's no good having it though if you're going to come out, plod around, and let the fatty clown and stroll around with his hands behind his back again.

It seems that the HV division is always prone to getting some really useless champions that can't hold onto a belt. I suppose it's because if you're a massive man, with no weight restrictions, and minimal boxing skills, you can still win fights in there. The same can't really be said as much for the weight restricted divisions.

He needs to spend the next six months sparring with taller opponents, learning to fight on the inside & training himself to take the fight to the opponent.

Whether this old dog can learn new tricks is the question.

He's clearly the better fighter, punches hard, is more accurate, but learning to fight like his opponents have had to may be a step too far at this late stage in his career.

Probably correct and it was to late to cancel the match.

Didnt know Fury was such a massive dickhead;

Fury added: ‘There are only three things that need to be accomplished before the devil comes home: one of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other one’s paedophilia. Who would have thought in the 50s and 60s that those first two would be legalised?

‘When I say paedophiles can be made legal, that sounds like crazy talk doesn’t it? But back in the 50s and early 60s, for them first two to be made legal would have been looked on as a crazy man again. If I would have told you 120 years ago, that a 1000-tonne aeroplane is going to float through the sky, a piece of steel — ludicrous.’

He defended his comments to the interviewer stating his beliefs are based on his faith and the bible: ‘The bible was written a long time ago, from the beginning of time until now, and if I follow that and it tells me it’s wrong, then it’s wrong for me. That’s just my opinion.’

Paedophilia was legal years ago.

We need someone to point it out to him. Who's going to do it?

This should not be forgotten.

Surely they couldn't sell Wembley out after that shocking performance from the both of them. I'll not be watching the rematch after that, utter piss take.
Anthony Joshua and the Chris Eubank jnr fights coming up though Dec 12th to look forward to, proper boxing.

Unfortunately people will watch any heavyweight boxing championship, not matter how bad the boxers, as has been proven.

Not doubt they'll have some pantomime bollocks of a hype grudge or some shit leading up to it to help sell tickets.

The lower weight classes offer some real entertainment & often top class boxing.

You wouldn't want to play that part of a pantomime animal.

I give up if that fat pikey cunt beats Klitschko, it'll be a disgrace to the sport. He comes into his 6wk camp at 23stone, so his team instead of spending time on boxing and strategy have to get the idiot through fat club, then he doesn't train outside of this. He only able to box as he's stupidly tall and throws out a jab against mickey mouse opponents. Surely Wlad has to destroy him bar a disaster. He's promised to retire if he loses this fight but I can't see him keeping his word.

Helluva shout that.

Joshua v White tonight. I can't see this lasting 5 minutes.

Boring Bellew is on the undercard as is Eubank Jr.

So one would think regarding the Joshua fight, but who foresaw Fury beating Klitschko? Not saying I expect Joshua to lose, but I wonder if it might be closer than most of us expect.
