I'm still amazed we through a 3-1 lead out the window. So many bad decisions and mistakes made at the same time. Horrendous.
Klopp will be fuming and rightly so.
Shame we didnt bring on a more defensive player at 2-3. Conceding 2 more goals is unacceptable.
Need to pick ourselves up again though. The season wasnt won or lossed today.

As I said leading up to the game against Leeds, if we can't cope with two games a week, with our best available players, when we're not in Europe, god help us if we finish in the top four this season. There was a mental immaturity there that was alarming. Mane looked as though he didn't want to be on the pitch, Can, as usual, was doing only as much as he thought was needed, and is the master of lowering our tempo once he thinks a game is won, and Origi really needs help at the front. Forget Karius, no threats should have reached him. That was a second half in which the whole team stopped thinking in the second half, allowing a pig-like dwarf to come on and win MOM. Disgraceful, and Klopp needs to nip this in the bud here and now or else it will happen again and again this season.
This is 100% why we lost, because the team stopped playing as they assumed Cans goal had ended the tie. We defended like a laughing stock at the end, and Karius dropped a clanger, but it was the team turning off and taking things for granted that cost us the game. I said as much before they scored their second, it was painfully obvious we were letting them back into the game, and whilst in no way did I think we'd lose this game at that point, if you down your tools like we did and start taking things for granted, you're allowing the opposition the chance to take back control of the game, and that's exactly what they did.
Relying on Lucas as a viable centre half and leaving out Klavan who is a centre half says it all.

I think I know what you're saying but the attack scored three goals today.
Surely we should be able to rely on our defenders not to concede more than two? It's not like we were depending on a clean sheet to win the match, was it?

Mane, who seemed to have self-diagnosed himself as unable to run, got more and more idle, then he was replaced by Lallana, who normally sets the pace but today was struggling to find any. So there was no injection of energy and aggression and pace just when we needed it.
Mane needs a really candid talking-to from Klopp. His attitude stinks. Yes he got a goal but for 99% of the time he couldn't have cared less.

Thats not what I'm saying though. Of course we should critizise the players, manager, tactics, mentality and approach to the game.
I'm talking about using 1 match as some sort of proof that we wont win the league.
We can win the league even if we lost today...
