Borini's shit

Borini is not 'shit'. What an embarrassing comment that is. His movement is brilliant, and having only just turned 21, he'll get better and better.

Interesting comment about his movement, the problem is because he was bought in as a striker - we will only ever judge him on goals scored. I think everyone realizes that Suarez is more than a striker in that he is really our play-maker/creator in the final third so even though he misses most of the chances he creates - we are more than willing to overlook that fault. I don't know what to make of Borini just yet - difficult to assess him.

Well, you've "assessed" Tevez and "assessed" him as "overrated", so.............

None of you have taken the issue seriously - someone has said he has good movement, but overall - would any of you on here have signed him ? if you had 9M to spend and it was a choice between signing Borini or Dempsey - which one would you have signed ?

We've played two fucking games and the lad is what, 21? The duece has 8 fucking years on him. Let's just see what happens eh?

Borini.

Borini is shit. Liverpool is shit. Life is shit. Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy?

LeTallec - is the rest really necessary ? - so you would not have signed Borini given the choice of Dempsey (NO OTHER OPTIONS ON THE TABLE - ITS BETWEEN THOSE TWO ONLY).

dempsey is a 1-2 season signing at best. borini has proven he can score at a young age in one of the toughest leagues in the world (highest goal per minutes bar zlatan and one other last year). he's 21, in a new league (yes, it is new despite being in england for 4 years), in an unfamiliar role (he was playing central in BR's plan at swansea) and still adapting to his teammates. Let's not forget MOST of the team (including Gerrard) is adapting to a new style - which will not allow our players to show their best skills for a few more games (best case scenario). Worst happens, we sell for 8-10 million in 2 years.

He'll make most of you eat humble pie ...

Thanks - lets see if the other posters respond.
Don't really care what they think. Borini is a safe bet for the future. He's young, ambitious and can score goals in a very tough league. Dempsey, while a decent goal scorer will be hanging his boots up in a few years.

When I was back and saw Borini in the flesh against Gomel his movement was first class .
His finish for his goal was also top quality .
I will continue to have faith in his ability until proved otherwise .

So far nothing for Dempsey - interesting.

I'd have taken Dempsey + Borini mind. But if you're asking what I want for this project, then it's better to spend our money on players who will a) improve and b) have sell on value if they don't fit into our plans after a few years.
