Bolton Vs Liverpool.

Points out we've been shit away for nearly one calender year. An alarming stat I have no problem people mentioning

Right. So it would seem a pointless exercise to mention the statistic if there was no merit or point in doing so.
I was pointing out that Liverpool Football Club had only won two away games this year, one of which was under Rafa, the other Hodgson. Stop being a prick. I know it's a hard thing to do but you can at least give it a go.

So if you've been shit away from home for ages, the way to fix that is to employ a shit old manager with one of the worst away records in the Premiership.

Get back to the point.

HodgePodge was saying 'peope kept telling him this week we seldom win away', he got an away win, and now he's our savior!

Not one person has claimed he's our saviour. However people are now (sadly) accepting he's going to be here for a bit. So what's the point on coming online every single day to a new thread about how roy has said the wrong thing? its irritating

No one wants him here, we're just getting on with it

Stiff upper lip etc

No, he said he was the worst Liverpool manager in modern history. I think.
He really said that? Wow.

I dunno, I might be paraphrasing. To be honest, what he usually says is so fucking dismally embarrassing and/or depressing, that I amuse myself by putting my own words into his dusty, superannuated budgie-like gob.

So, no, I don't think he did say that.

Well, I wouldn't disagree with that Brendan. Some of the stuff he comes out with is cringeworthy. Is he Liverpool's worst ever manager? I'll wait until the end of his tenure before making that assessment. He's started terribly and two wins against Blackburn and Bolton aren't going to convince me things are turning round. Even a good performance/result against Chelsea won't.

Forgetting all that's been said about Hodgson and that, great win and we can only gain confidence from it. It doesn't matter who we win against, the fact that we have won 2 on the trot is the important thing. The players relise this, and they will have great confidence going into the Chelsea game. The fact Torres got the assist for the goal will only boost him too. Gerrard starting to get in to good positions too, which he has struggled of late to do so. I know it's only Bolton, but you can only beat what's in front of you, and hopefully the lads push on fro here with confidence and get a result against Chelsea, which isn't impossible.

Ha. On the jager tonight Mark.

We all would rather another manager, and I think of him like Ranieri at Chelsea, a nice man, filing a seat, but eventually will be moved on because the owners have higher expectations.

As I said elsewhere. We've said enough on Hodgson for now. It's pretty simple. 5 points off forth. 28 games to play. It can be done.

Who believes?

I do. I don't think he's a great manager, but I do think we (and him) are better than this and we didn't have the best start in terms of fixtures. We've basically, by next week played 5 of the top 8 which is tough going by any means.

Yeah, no one wants him, but I think we were fooling ourselves if we thought NESV would boot him straight away. He has obviously strengthened his position with the latest two wins, so all we can do is get behind the manager at the moment. At least while we know he aint going anywhere.

Lucas showing his amazing defensive midfield skills there: an obvious, rash foul followed by a Bolton player simply running past him.

What a fucking *cunt*

Lucas V Bolton:

5 clearances. Most on ground by any midfielder.
3 Interceptions. Most on ground.
12 tackles. Only Kyrgiakos had more.
48 passes. Most on ground (would you like me to show you a diagram to indicate how few of them were sideways too?).
46 completed passes out of 48. Best on ground again.

Lucas was one of our better players against blackburn and he continued that today. He got himself involved in the game and played well. Credit where its due, Your an idiot.

It's "you're" Zlatan. As in:

YOU'RE AN IDIOT ZLATAN.

Double-teamed by Ryan and Massive Zlatan.
At this hour of the day.
Ha, replace "Double-teamed" with PWNED.

Excuse my ignorance, but why is he "massive"? I must have missed something.

For my own amusement I have been treating the words 'zlatan' and 'cunt' as entirely interchangeable.

It's a bit convoluted and arcane, and the grammatical rules are flexible at best, but you'll soon get the hang of it.

This Zlatan chap has escaped my notice I must say.

Lucas had a good game again, the fact he's in most people's top three's in the MOTM thread says as much, though to be fair he should really be judged on how much of a cunt he is.

Lucas was certainly one of our better players and only a massive Zlatan would say otherwise.

I think lucas has had two good games on the bounce against admittedly poor opposition, let's see lucas have a good game against chelsea.

I hope maxi keeps getting played.

There's a half decent player in there.

Upon kuyts return I'd like to see him up top supporting torres

Gerrard and Meireles seemed to enjoy flicking the ball aimlessly to their midfield. Torres looked like he was missing daddy's special cuddles. Cole is just cack and it wasn't a coincidence that him leaving the field sorted us out. What I'm saying is, all our supposedly best players are a bit wank.

Maxi looked better on the left and once again our midfield looks most balanced when SG drops back into the engine room. Maxi was fairly hopeless until Cole came off. N'Gog did really well when he came on, held the ball up and looked for the forward pass.
