I was blasted a while ago for suggesting N'Gog play in the centre of the three behind Torres. Well, today showed what I've thought for some time he'd be able to contribute from there.
We looked better when Wash came on for Cole, without a doubt, but Christ how we need a decent winger or two! It was painful watching Meireles out on the right.

We were about 10x more potent going forward when he replaced Cole.
That's not saying much but Ngog can defo do a job for this side in its current condition

We are struggling against a team whose manager is wearing shorts.

"We were well organised and I congratulate our team and I am really pleased we got the victory because as people have told me several times this week we don't usually win away, but it was nice to do so for a change."
Thought we were poor again today. We seem to have no idea of how to attack. No gameplan of how to break down the opponents and we'll just play and hope someone comes up with a bit of magic to win us the game. Fortunately Nando did that today, but he didn't have a good game himself.
Roll on next week's pasting by Chelsea and then we can start to get some more points on the board after that.

What? WHAT?

Plus that's about the 7th victory in a row against Bolton (or so the radio said), so at least three of those will have been at their place.
Maggie Thatcher always used to do this, saying "we" instead of "I" to try and give the impression that she really wasn't out on her own in thinking/doing what she did.
I don't understand why anyone would use any isolated statistic to compare Benitez and Budgie, because that invites extrapolation, and that in turn will just end up making you look a massive cunt
