Bologna Or Florence?

Anyone been to both or either?

There's cheap flights from Manchester to Bologna in April so I was thinking of a little getaway. Bologna seems cheaper and theres some boss airbnb places but we could stay in either and do a daytrip to the other place. Value of wine is also a factor

Anyone got any recommendations?
