Though I hope by the time we cross paths, we'd have gotten rid of, or relegated to the bench, a fair number of the players that he left for Hodgson and Kenny. 😀 😀 😀
Let's see:
- Skrtel as a backup (and maybe Carra as well)
- Lucas as a backup
- Johnson as a👎 (expensive) backup, on the other flank, or sold
- Kuyt as a backup (maybe; depends on how we opt to play)
- Maxi as a backup (or sold)
He won't recognize the squad when Ming delivers a peach to Carroll's head to knock down for Suarez to cut a sharp pass into the path of the charging Shelvey to bang home his 3rd goal into the bottom corner and celebrate wildly with a willy cradle gesture.
