He's not Brendan. He can hold the ball up well, his movement is getting better and without his goals (incl the odd stunner) this season we'd be in the bottom three.

I'd have Eggnog on in the second half if we had a remotely competent central midfield that could cope with losing one of our midfield five.

I would take off Jovanovic and bring on Wilson. Put Kuyt on the left and Johnson on the right.
We are playing the right way badly, as opposed to the wrong way badly. So not exactly cause for celebration but I am encouraged.

We're playing how we would all like us to play; I haven't seen Liverpool play like this in ages - the reigns seem to have been let off - pass & move, 3-4 players backing up attacking moves, some lovely touches.
Yeah our passing is off, and some players are showing themselves up more playing this kind of style but I like it! If Kenny can have us playing like this in 3 days I'm looking forward to seeing what we'll be like by the end of the season.
