I'd say it was more to keep Kamala in positive news stories for longer, it would have been lost in the noise if it was straight away.

Someone needs to suggest to him the career path of a stand-up comedian. Not quite my cup of tea, but his supporters seem to love his act, “late great Hannibal Lecter” and all. He doesn’t have to be President to do what he does - tell weird jokes and stories in front of crowds and sell merch.

If he wins, he'll destroy everything that he can (Project 2025). If he loses, he'll claim, even more vehemently that last time, that it's been stolen from him, and I genuinely fear militia-esque violence breaking out all over the country.

Either way, this country is fucked.
