Here’s what’ll happen... what is happening.
The Senate will now go back and certify the election - I’d be surprised to see anyone seriously object and slow down the process now that Trump has played his final violence card. Even Loeffer has changed her mind about objecting to the result now.
More and more people will walk away from him - already people are resigning left, right and centre - distancing themselves as fast as they can from his toxicity.
Even the Vice President - whom Trump went after yesterday - knows he’s been shafted.
The “Italian Job” will be completely de-bunked as nonsense.
The question now is whether Trump even makes it to the end of his term - certainly, you’d one to limit what buttons he can press for a few weeks.
Watch him try to figure out a way of giving himself an advanced pardon now (which in itself is an admission of guilt).
History will judge him - he leaves America in the grip of a pandemic, inciting acts of domestic terrorism, rambling like a madman, denying reality - isolating himself more, every time he opens his mouth.
His best hope now is Joe Biden - and whether Biden goes all touchy-feely and starts talking about healing and moving on to a better future and doesn’t have the stomach for letting people go after Trump and hold him accountable for his actions.
The only thing Ross got right was that today would be the day it unravelled - except it’s Trump that’s unravelling.
