I'd have played and not thought about it. I would have been pissed off about it when I first heard but I wouldn't let it get to me.

I was at Hillsborough and I don't need to go into the effect it had on me but I'm big and ugly enough to know I'm a hypocrite on so many other levels - and for fuck's sake it was a long time ago and everyone who was there is gone apart from Murdoch himself - and we all watch his TV programs and some of you buy the Times. I see no difference.
