Banking error in my favour...

I checked my online banking this morning and noticed that a company has paid a refund of just under £300 into my account on Sunday afternoon. I have never heard of this company and have never had any dealings with them in the past and no one else has access to this specific account.

After doing a little research on the companies website it seems they can no longer provide a service to their customers and because of this they are refunding them it seems. (I may be way off the mark with that)

Surely there isn’t a set period of time before the money becomes mine, is there?

Do I ring the bank and inform them? Do I try and get in touch with the company? Do I just keep my mouth shut and wait a few weeks/months?
