Depends which criterion you use to define "worst". Financially we've spent more in other cases and not got a lot more back from the player, but attitude-wise Balotelli's in a class of his own.

As a governor of two special schools I can tell you that not many of our kids behave like he does, nor would we allow those that do to get away with it.

As far as humanly possible we hold our pupils to the same standards that mainstream kids have to meet - OFSTED expects that, but we'd do it anyway. It's one of the reasons why I've been so harsh on Balotelli, who's had help and advantages which most of our pupils could only dream about and still manages to behave worse than they do. BTW I'm reasonably good at accents as a rule but the Deep South one is hard to do without exaggeration. I can do yiz a good Norn Iron one though.

I'm certainly no fan of Balotelli and I'm overjoyed he has left. I will say though he was a well known philanthropist in football circles. Donating his admittedly not hard earned 50% of his salary to good causes in Africa and such. When you look at that cunt Stephen Ireland he maybe should be given a bit of a break.

I'm not convinced he got a 'fresh start' under Klopp in that he was never, to my recollection, in contention for being selected. That's not to say he deserved one and history tells us he wouldn't have seized it. I suspect Klopp has been informed of his antics and attitude soon after joining and, probably quite rightly wrote him off from that point on.
Klopp did have kind words to say about Ballotelli, which despite playing him in the reserves, were surely useful to his agent when trying to find a club for him.
Coming out and slagging Klopp off now, in those terms, shows a huge lack of class and respect. I suspect his agent builds up Ballotelli's ego to superstar status to line his own pockets, which contributes to his 'never my fault' outlook on life. I'm glad it took the pair of them so long to find a club willing to pay him a wage. It's a damning statement of the complete mess his career is in now and deservedly so.
