Was a rumour on twitter last night that it was about to collapse, but that there could be an 11th hour bid from someone else.

Fingers crossed. Aqua cuntface.
In this instance i dont see what he has done wrong? Why should he accept a pay cut to move to ANOTHER city with no guarantee he will get to stay there?
We expect too much.
Personally given he doesnt fancy it here or/and we dont want him then we have to hope its sorted out, but i dont think we should expect him to be fucked over on our behalf.
Agreed Oncy, fair play really. We need a permanent move for him and you can't really blame him for wanting the same.

IF its true that he has told the club and Kenny that he wants to return to Italy, then I for one think its very strange that he wont accept a return even though its an inital loan.

There must be other interested clubs interested if he decides against this move.
Like i said, hes lived in three places in three years, if i was him i wouldnt accept another year in ANOTHER city that there is no guarantee i would stay in.

Shambles of a transfer from start to........

Because he's already been stung once by Juventus.

"Fool me once , shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me"

I tend to agree with those who say that he's been treated badly by the club.
If my employer told me not to come to work but that they were happy to continue to pay me I'm not quite sure I'd call that being 'treated badly' to be honest.

Have we now all of a sudden accepted Marca and Sky Sport understans as decent sources?

Mata to Arsenal is a Marca story, and no one else but skybare saying the Aqua stuff. And we allmknow how "reliable" they are...

Sky sources this summer from what I can see have been spot on with a quiet a few of the transfers...

They've been miles wide with enough too, they get most of their stuff from the rest of the press and what's floating around, it's rare they're 'exclusive'.

His agent has been talking again, and Fiorentina havent decided yet on wheter or not to sign him. 50% chance according to "mouth" Zavaglia.

We should sell him to Everton then. He could stay in Liverpool and we get rid.

Or even better a straight swap with Baines.

Sorted.

When I say sky sources I meant the ones on telly and most have been oncourse from what I can see.
Well sources mean they can be from everywhere, they had a few exclusives and mostly seem to be from the players agents from the what I seen over the last two weeks.

I'd swap him for Tony Hibbert.

I'm starting to wonder if he's alive to anybody. This whole transfer saga could be one long weekend at Bernie's

Haha. Nice.

I always thought they were an option due to Pirlo leaving:

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan may be weighing up a move for the Liverpool midfielder.

"Aquilani our 'Mister X'? Well, that could happen," said Adriano Galliani.

Aquilani is stuck in limbo because Fiorentina only want to sign him on loan but he does not want a repeat of this summer in 2012.

Milan open Aquilani door

Milan have failed to rule out a bid for Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani. “He could be of interest.”

Aquilani’s future is in some doubt given that he wants a return to Italy after being told that he doesn’t feature in the future plans of the Anfield club.

Having seen moves to Juventus and Fiorentina seemingly fall through this summer, he’s now been paired with Milan.

“We could talk about Aquilani,” Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani noted on Monday morning.

“He’s a midfielder with the characteristics that we are looking for so, like with other players in his role, he could be of interest.”

Aquilani spent last season on loan at Juve, but the Turin giants decided not to buy him outright after picking up Andrea Pirlo from Milan.

Meanwhile, the club official has also discussed rumours of an Antonio Cassano exit and the proposed arrival of Thiago Motta from Inter.

“There is nothing in these stories,” Galliani continued. “Cassano is a Milan player.

“A move to Genoa for Antonio could only occur if he asks to leave. If he doesn’t do that then he will definitely stay here with us.”

At 1.47 it sounds as if Aquilani says, if I didnt want to leave....play me more.

id actually like to see that fight, aquaman would be dishing out some assassins creed moves while comolli would just be throwing some rage down like the dad off 28 weeks later

Some on RAWK are claiming that is indeed Kenny who doesn't want him.

The latest from Aquaman's agent Zavaglia:

"Non so cosa dicono o scrivono in Inghilterra - ha continuato Zavaglia - posso però dire che il ragazzo, avendo capito di non rientrare più nei piani del Liverpool nel presente ma anche in futuro, vorrebbe una soluzione a titolo definitivo. Comunque ripeto, l'affare non è a rischio, restiamo in attesa".

Google translate:

"I do not know what to say or write in
England - continued Zavaglia -
I can not say that the boy, having
understood to no longer be covered in the plans of
Liverpool in the present but also in the future,
would like a solution as
final. However, I repeat, the deal did not
is at risk, we look forward. "

Aquilani's agent: "I don't know what they're saying or writing in England, but Alberto realises he's no longer part of #Liverpool's plans."

hate to say it but kennys just wrong (if he doesnt want aqua), i dont think we'll see pass and move with him this season at all
