I'm not pleased Utd are through but I couldn't care less either. I wouldn't say the League Cup is totally worthless but it is pretty shit, and if that's all Moyes has to boast about at the end of the season then he will be and should be embarrassed.

Top 4 is much more important to me than either of the cup competitions. Trophies qua trophies don't really mean that much to me tbh. Maybe one every few years just to stay vaguely in the habit. Other than that, meh.

I did not watch the game, but football fans do say horrible things and its upto clubs to stump it out.
I'm not a Puritan and as such like them to progress up until the Semi's and along the way pick up a few injuries (to key players) too.

I am happy they beat Stoke but crucially their squad has sustained another injury, that makes them overall weaker. As to this competitions value, well the top clubs decided that themselves when they started using their second XI.

LOL @ the whole concept of this thread. I'd never support Utd, under any circumstances. Ever. Even if a Utd win would favour us massively. Some people might say they'd like to see a draw-match. I'd even struggle with that. I love to see them get beaten no matter what.
