What do you guys think of Liverpools new Number 9?

Ok, we overpaid.. January and English etc blah.. I think he's a terrific player with a phenomenal potential! He'll play well in our 4-2-3-1 with Suarez, Gerrard and Kuyt playing off him..

He's got a beast of a head on him..

£35million

Rooney was £48million in todays market (According to the Transfer Price Index)..

sorry, will support if it comes true but I think this is gonna be a bad deal.

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

What do I think?

I think we're abunch of brainless fucking morons happy to watch our best player leave at a massive undervalue and even happier to watch our team buy an unfit player at a massive overvalue andthinking we go a good deal.

I aso think we havent really sacked Parry but that he's controlling everything like Remy the fucking rat in Ratatouille

It is all Comolli's fault

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

Great.

Fernando's gone and we get an overpriced beer boy greb head who doesn't *really* want to come.

Do we get a free Kevin Nolan thrown in ?

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

With this deal, we'll always be able to question why the board did not stamp up enough cash for interested players. They'll have no reason not to, anymore!

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

We've just been ripped.

I'm so gutted, the fact that we've had enough about us to promptly realise we need to invest £35million in a new striker, and yet we're investing it in the wrong person.

This signing is a horrible horrible mistake.

I'm so gutted.

No, it's Fernando Torres's fault. Would you rather we didn't have a replacement with 5 hours left in the transfer window this season

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

And I've just been reminded that Barca spent £34.2m on David Villa. :-[

And have 50 million to use in the next window on someone like Benzema and Defour?

yeah

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

Not worth £35m but I think he will be great for us

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

Fuck it. Dont care what you all say about him being over valued and all that...I say: He's going to be a hit for us!
Or he'll become the next Collymore.

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

I think that he'll be a massive hit with us and improve in leaps and bounds.

Get him to toe the line and cut out his off field antics and he'll turn out to be some player!

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

karlsentk Tor-Kristian Karlsen
west ham were offered andy carroll for £1 million in the summer of 2009, but steve clarke didn't rate him (from dead cert source)

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

Anyone who doubted FSG intent to reinvest any money can relax...

Carroll, excellent purchase. Overpriced? Yes. But who cares. Rather him than some other twat for 20 mill that Kenny doesn't want.

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

How much did Scum pay for Rooney?

£25m

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

it wont be 35 mill up front..

My guess it will be a Rooney type deal with add ons making it up to £35 mill
Depending on appearances, champs league qualification etc..

Quite frankly. Yes.

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

I'm still lolling at all the posts thinking this is great for us

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

Kelly, Carra, Johnson, Gerrard, Carroll, Cole.. 6 members of our starting XI could potentially be English in a few weeks time.. Shove that up your arses Platini and Blatter!

Re: Andy Carroll - ASKING PRICE MATCHED

Tell you what. we should go for Carlton Cole or Bobby Zamora instead
