That wasn't my point though. And I wasn't in any way commenting on age with specific regard to Johnson's situation for those that may think these comments are alluding to that issue.

Basically it is UK society's mores that have decided this arbitrary cut-off based on what the UK population will accept (not on any scientific basis but from a religious one). Fact is that, as a species, human females are sexually mature, able to reproduce and to make responsible mothers at 13-14 and in many societies around the world that is accepted and many are married off (Africa, Asia and maybe even parts of South America) between the ages of 13 and 16. Nature is rarely wrong in deciding when a species is capable of, as in mature enough, to breed.

That does not mean I agree with a very mature male taking a very young but sexually mature female as a mate ! Though that is often the way in some societies, security over personal preference. And of course this is just a conversation on the scientific aspects of sexual maturity, ignoring that fact that modern Western society prefers to see young adults, of either sex, educated and experienced before creating a family.

Basically what I'm saying is that nature disagrees with people when they say that young females are not mentally able to cope with having sex even though sexually mature. It is society that has made that decision. Many millions of mature women would probably agree with that.
 
If he goes around telling people he bought her, he's not only a weirdo but a fucking asshole too.

I think the most important information contained in this is......

You can get jiggy with it at 16 in the north.... But you have to wait till 17 in the South.

That ones definitely going in the Tayto thread.
 
The whole nature knows when a girl should breed argument will go out the window when we find out he pulled out and came on her face.

The assumption that you should listen to nature goes hand in hand with assuming that sex is only used for reproduction, which obviously it isn't.

The Sunderland winger was detained on Monday morning at his £1.85 million home after Durham Police received a complaint from the schoolgirl’s father.

It is understood the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had boasted of her alleged liaison with the 27-year-old footballer to friends and on social media.

You would think they'd need more than that particularly given the searches.

I'm willing to bet there's a trail of snapchat / twitter / instagram etc messages between the two

When I was 18 I met a girl in Streets (a bar in Liverpool) & was all over her. Was ready to bring her back to mine until her mate told my mate that she was 16 & her mate wasn't 16 for another few weeks. She looked 18/19 & there's no way I'd have thought of asking.

I used to take girls home from town at least once a weekend for a good few years so I've no idea if they were all definitely over 16, as most looked around 18, & I'm pretty sure most lads on here couldn't give that guarantee either.

I'd normally assume the police have proof he knew she was under 16 & that fact actually matters, but fuck knows when a celebrity is involved.
