c'mon, your admiration of carra to one side for a minute, carra ripping into arbeloa the way he did rub you up the wrong way?
to make matters worse the guy is the vice captain.

Found your old thread Neil.
First person to bump that dies.
Some of the shite you read on here boggles the mind. I've met Carragher twice and he's extremely likable.
It's Gerrard who is a bit of a bellend.
His wife's worse, she's just a bitch. Some of the shite you read on here boggles the mind. I've met Carragher twice and he's extremely likable.

People who constantly moan about people moaning, even when they're not.
Carragher is one of the most ordinary non-arrogant not-up-his-own-arse footballers out there. Doesn't always do the right things I agree but don't confuse being overly passionate with arrogance and a lack of respect. I think that's plain wild assumption.
Wow, very impressive stuff.I've said this before, but I don't care. I met carra in the sportrs bar through a shared friend.
He spent over an hour talking to me about all things football, & a few other things. When we left he gave me armfuls of Istanbul stuff, including a pass with lanyard, programme, & tonnes of other stuff, & signed it, all at the boot of his range rover whilst a traffic warden threatened him with a ticket if he didn't move it, Carra simply replied it was important.
He wasn't arrogant in the slightest at any point, if anything his attitude was of gratitude to be paid to play football, & he said he was one of the least technically good players in the club. Considering this was weeks after the CL final in Istanbul he'd have had every right to be arrogant.
That's Neil, all im saying is that its an example of this attitude he has which puts me off him surfacing.
I don't know how much clearer I have to make this, im not talking about him in a personal capacity, I have no doubts he's a lovely bloke, all I've been saying is there is something about the way he acts to his team mates on the pitch which I don't like, as if no ones good enough, you're acting like im comparing him to Hilter. Mark those situations you mention were different, although I dont really like seeing anyone getting handbags out on the pitch, Carragher nearly came to blows with Arbeloa over nothing, what if he scored an own goal? Would we be accepting Bowyer versus Dyer round two? Still im not bothered by it, I was just using it as an example of an attitude I dont like, which puts me off him as a footballer, could you all just trying to exaggerate my opinion into something it is not.
Gotta love phones and bad reception.Post it twice.
