Should really have more than 1 league title, 1 CL, 1 super cup and 1 WCC.

But still easily into the top 5 managers ever for us.

B+?
Sorry, considering investment and what he's been up against (one of the greatest teams in the game's history in City), A.
Should we have won another league? Yeah, but injuries cocked things up last year and Man City were unreal 3 years ago to pip us by a point.
Just imagine if he had similar investment that Arsenal managers got, or Pep got, or Man U managers got ...

To get fucking 3rd despite the sabotage attempt by the owners to wait till we had no chance of winning the title to get reinforcement, is hugely impressive achievement. The owners had no wish of winning the title, as they knew they couldn't pay the bonuses.

So even for last season he gets an A- (To play Jota in a dead rubber game was his biggest mistake, even then I am guessing the owners asked him to so they can collect an extra €1.6m)

I can't think of another current manager who would likely have done any better with the resources provided.

We barely really challenged for the title for almost 30 years before he arrived. We had won nothing other than one league cup in about 10 years before he arrived.

Since he joined (his first half season aside) we have been in the top 4 consistently, we have come runners up once, won the league once, won one CL and got to another final.

I’d say his transfer record has generally been a lot better than other recent Liverpool managers. I don’t recall many expensive clangers.

And although it’s hard to quantify, he has made it fun to be a Liverpool fan again! Remember how bloody miserable it was under Hodgson or Souness and at times under Evans, Rodgers, Houllier and Benitez. I would love to know what that lot would score under this grading system!

I agree that he is up there with our best managers though.

Hold on a fucking minute,

That B+ comment was from Dreamy??? Thought he posted it from some instagram account FFS

WHAT THE FUCK DREAMY

When Klopp came in I was honestly only looking for your next manager to steady the ship and get us back in the hunt for top 4 EVENTUALLY.

What he's since gone on to do over the years has been nothing short of inimitable.

We were going nowhere and right away in the first 6 months we got to 2 finals.

He'll rightly be remembered as one of the legendary figures of our club. B fucking +? Shanks, Paisley, Dalglish are his peers in the history of the club since the 60s. Unlike Paisley and Dalglish though, he inherited a club living on past glories, and foundering. Given the finances he has worked with compared with his competitors, his achievements are off the fucking scale.

😀 wow strong response.

You boys must all be straight A students. I would left out my own assessment if I thought it would get that much of a reaction.

Klopp came in as one of the most highly regarded managers in world football. I was made up we got him. Maybe I was in the minority but I expected a league title.
Perhaps an A- 😀
He has lost a CL final, a EL final and a league cup!

If he leaves in 2024 and doesn’t add to his trophy will he still be an A+ for everyone?

With the Newcastle news it’s going to be even tougher now to challenge for the best player and the big trophies.

With a bit more luck we could easily have had 2 CL and 2 league titles.

The only way he doesn't become an A+ is if he gets us relegated, then maybe a B+....but it would never come to that because he'd probably end up getting the sack before.

So yes A+

Don’t disagree we’ve been up against it but we should definitely should have won the EL at a minimum. I love Klopp but will always feel like this current crop should have won more considering how good a team they are. Hopefully we rectify that this season!

6 year report?

He's been everything we hoped he's be when he signed in 2015

A fucking +
Fair, maybe my expectations were raised seeing what he did at Dortmund. And as a Liverpool fan I wasn’t used to losing finals, 2007 still gives me nightmares so losing three hurt a lot.

He took over a team that finished 8th the season before losing 6-1 to Stoke fucking City. Expecting a league title from that start is a fair ask these days. We lost league cup final on penalties, we lost a CL final due to Ramos being a thug and Karius being a shithouse and an EL final because the previous manager left him with Alberto fucking Moreno as first choice left back. Aside from that we won the league and were an 11mm goal line clearance and Vicent Kompany red card away from winning it another time. We won the CL beating Bayern and then Barca in that game (also beating Spurs when they were decent in the final). This during a period when we were massively outspent by City, Chelsea and United and were outspent by several clubs down the division too.

A+++ all day long

Are you saying Klopp gets a pass for winning the league with this team? Pffft
