I asked a question.

Sven had just taken over at city and Thaksin had promised millions in players.

A city mate of mine stated that they would win the PL before us.

3 years on, Sven has gone, Hughes has gone, Thaksin has gone and replaced with someone with even more dough, the question is being asked again within the media.

So, what do you think?

I think they might even win it next year and I'm going to back that up with a bet this weekend.
What are the odds for next season? Anyone?

It'd probably be worth doing now before they sign the big names and they slash their odds. Bit of a guessing game, though obviously, as you don't know who they'll sign. Worth an outside bet, though.

It's not just about the resources though.

Maybe. If things don't change for us city will most probably start finishing above us but the fact this has had to be asked again shows how things can change. Things could go wrong with their owners again.

Also they still have to overtake United, Chelsea and Arsenal. Any of them could start spending and improve.
