I think what City have done is quite amazing actually and I know many of us mock the way they have achieved it by spending loads but the truth is the way they have played and won the league with 5 games remaining is all down to Pep's tactics and getting his team to play the way they have done. I think @Dreambeliever's post in the Guardiola thread sums up my thoughts which was in summary that in the past when City have won it it was always nearly on the last day ( the first win being in extra time ) so there is a huge difference this time.

Pep has got his team to play in such a way that it suffocates the lower sides into submission 95% of the time and got his team to play consistently in that way - that is not an easy thing to do regardless of the money invested. Clearly he spent last summer getting them ready to play like that, and I am really happy that at last a top European manager has finally said how hard it is to win this league - It is nothing like the shitty leagues in the rest of Europe. I think next season - if they play consistently like this season then it's going to be very hard to compete with them regardless of how much United spend or we spend unless we can also get the same consistency out of our own team.

This season at Anfield yes they did play well but they also had 13 players on the pitch... 2 of wearing black gave them a penalty in the 93rd minute... fuck that...

Our away performance was literally our lowest ebb in the season, Lovren and Mig was atrocious and gifted them 2 goals in the first twenty minutes, we fought back and Salah got one back and then yet again we fucked up and conceded in the 48th minute of the first half...

It was by far our worst performance this season, but no Spurs just aren't better than us... they aren't... and moreover they historically never have been so...
