Didn't bring my laptop to Czech with me and don't have WiFi in our apartment yet so am relying on cafe/pub WiFi for the next 10 days which is not ideal as it limits my research . It's also more difficult for a luddite like me to access sites on my phone so I'll update the running totals on this challenge on the 30th. I think I finished down £16 on the week.
Right time to catch up with what's gone on over the last 3 weeks. I was in Czech for 2 weeks over Xmas and was drinking heavily every day (the Czech's are buggers for this sorta thing 🙂. With the intoxication comes lack of research coupled with limited wifi connection and the fact that my phone was my only internet access and I much prefer betting and following scores with the luxury of a laptop.
My wife and baby are stilll in Czech for another 2 weeks so since I've been back I've been topping up my alcohol levels over New Year and am only now beginning to sober up.
In hindsight I should have not bet at all whilst away; I had enough of a buffer zone to give myself a 2 week break, having said that I didn't lose too much and if it wasn't for that ridiculous miss by Benteke against Leicester I would actually be +£100 better off and would have made a profit whilst away.
Anyway, as far as I can see (after yesterday's decent performancre) the bank stands at £418 and the target for week 19 (which ends on Wednesday) is £369. I'll double check these figures tomorrow.

I was surprised how well we played and how poor Stoke were. Obviously there was always a chance we could win but I never expected us to keep a clean sheet too. Despite the setback to this challenge I'm obviously delighted with the result. I'll get this challenge back on track at the weekend ;-) Might be doing my first full bank bet on Rangers (home to Cowdenbeath in the cup) since the first few weeks of the season.
