1st team starters for us who are currently playing for teams 10 and below in the PL

As the stupidly long title states, just curious to hear suggestions about players that would walk into our 1st eleven from from teams struggling below 10th in the league.

Obviously we don't want to consider any players from Chelsea, pffft!!! lol

Re Chelsea, in a side note they have a bunch of excellent 16 / 17 year old prospects wisely stalling on signing terms given their bloated squad and tendency to splash cash on the latest 100m buzz player.

There’s rich pickings there for a side with a brilliant track record of giving opportunities to youth.

Outside of usual suspects, I quite like Dewsbury Hall and James Justin from Leicester, Barnes too but we don't really need him. That squad is way too good to go down really

Dunno anything about him but Danilo is supposed to be good

Eze is getting all the plaudits recently at Palace, but Olise is very classy with loads of untapped potential,

Isn't he on a free this summer but I hear he lacks a bit of pace. If there is one thing we need in our midfield is more pace. I feel like we have one of the slowest set of midfielders in the top 6.

Why stop at top 6, we probably have the most ponderous midfield in the league. The sad thing is you can look at any of the relegation sides and argue that one of their players would get into our midfield, that's how far we've dropped off.

Tielemans, Barnes, Maddison, Ward Prowse, Lavia, Onana, Neves, Paulina, Olise, Paqueta. Any of them would make it into our squad.

Leeds are probably the only ones you'd say are totally lacking in quality.

Feels like he's been around for ages, thought he'd be well into his 30s by now.

Mitrovic is the guy Utd shouldv'e got instead of Weghorst, when you play to Mitrovic's strengths there aren't many around who's better....but you surrender so much by way of intricate build up play.

He's 28! 189 games, and 109 goals for Fulham. That's some record.

Similar record for Partizan and Anderlecht, but not Newcastle.

Yeah great record tbh, even if 1 or 2 seasons has come in the championship. To think he was only 20 when Newcastle signed him.

Edit: Actually now I’ve seen just how many goals came in the Prem (28) in 88 games, maybe not so great but still reasonable.

Forgot about the Championship piece. Almost 1 goal every three games in the PL for Fulham, 1 in 4 for Newcastle (at 20 years old)

Yeah it's decent, if he can replicate what he did this season for Fulham next season only this time without the ban then it musts more respect on the numbers..
