Russian newspaper "Sovetskiy Sport" reports that Dynamo Moscow is negotiating the transfer of Benayoun from Liverpool. They say the player is "willing" to come to Moscow, but "the last word remains with Rafa Benitez." They expect some kind of resolution by the end of next week. Dynamo's sporting director confirmed that negotiations are taking place.

I don't want to believe it. I didn't think Yossi was unsettled here... Hope it's just newspaper bollocks and Dynamo's director is trying to raise his profile by claiming his side is "negotiating" to bring European stars and in reality it was just a routine inquiry that was immediately rejected. If it turns out we are actually considering Dynamo's offer (reported to be 8 million euro) to get rid of one of our best attacking players, then we are really in a bad shape.

If it wasn't and we could manage to get over 10 million for him and get in a striker or winger a la Jones or .Menez But I'd be reluctant to do it unless its an attempt to improve the team now..

Zaki signed for Hull didn't he?
Why keep Yossi if he is selected out of position the whole time? Same deal with Babel, either play them where they should be or move them on.

Sounds BS to me. He will only leave LFC for Israel where he may (or more probably will not) have one or two seasons before ending his career.

FUCK THAT

Utter bollocks!!!

Myself and Rafa to Dynamo:

Yossi is unhappy at being a regular starter in one of the biggest clubs in the world? What a lot of shite.

It's made out like every one is unhappy at Liverpool from the highest paid stars to the bloody tea-lady

You can't put what you think he should think. Some players wouldn't be happy being played out of position. Especially if they believe they can get into other big sides

I heard the same thing around and about,

There is a lot of nonsense talked though. A lot of people heard it that SG had a screaming row with Rafa in the dressing room the other night. The scouse rumour factory is a rather untrustworthy source IMHO.

This story comes up a lot (he was even linked to Olympiakos or some greek team earlier last week). It's always denied by him and the agent. Usual garbage.

I know a lad who has a business that Yossi frequents, last time I was in, a few months ago, he said then that Yossi was starting to feel a bit unsettled

Must be a Turkish massage parlour and he prefers Thai?

Who cares?

He's a squad player.

They leave clubs all the time. Although, to be fair, in our case they stay too long and play too many games in the first team

Obviously I would have quite a few others ahead of Casper on the 'leave' list, but I wouldn't really care if he left either

However, there's more players at LFC I want to leave than at any other time since Souness

He's proven to be a very good squad player Bren. And given our current plight, letting him go would be suicidal.

some Russian clubs have a silly amount of money and not many players would be willing to move there to play.. way too cold.

i wouldnt be suprised if this was true that we would be looking at a transfer in the region of 8 -10 million pounds. Yossi would be a very big signing for the Russian League

So he'd prefer to play in Moscow in a favoured position than playing various positions for Liverpool? I don't buy it. If one of the European giants was in for him, well maybe, but Moscow? Na.
