Well if it's okay to be called a cunt for being a cunt why is it not okay to call people stupid for being stupid ?

All I've learned that the following insults are okay:
bigot, homophobe, sociopath, cunt (so long as it's not me saying it)

Not okay - stupid.

For the love of god. For obvious reasons please ensure you deal with the other breaches first before you deal with your own breach and have to ban yourself.

It is alleged that in or around the preceding five minutes, this mod used words that amounted to abusive and/or insulting language toward another mod within the meaning of FA Rule E3.

Yes Ross, that's totally the same. Imposing a nasty superiority complex over someone's innocent opinion is exactly the same as calling someone a cunt for being an intollerable, obnoxious troll.

Totally the same level there.

You can't argue the toss in this thread with bringing the size of brains into the equation, or whatever. That says more about you and your general posting style and why alot of people are fed up of your behaviour on here.

What defamation am I ok with? This gets more hilarious and equally fucked up by the minute.

The argument transpired over several years. In my case most of that time has been various posters trying to psychiatry 101 dantes to explore and make fun of why I hold positions such as the laptop being real. That's several years of I'm stupid, I fell for disinformation, I'm a bot, I want to suck trump's dick, troll, I'm a fake dantes, mentally ill, I'm racist, and so forth. It becomes gradually more vitriolic and nobody has thought to consider that I arrived at my opinion because it is correct. Never even entered anyone's mind. It is what it is. So that's why you get dismissed as a woke idiot. Not to troll or peddle silly agendas, but because literally you being a woke idiot was the only explanation for why your brain couldn't arrive at such obvious conclusions about the laptop and the other things.

Now the laptop is shock horror real. You have to wonder why I don't get any credit, any apology, any inquiry as to what gives, no intellectual inquiry, just a dismissive shut up you're boring. That is why you get called stupid and an idiot, because there is no other word for it. It's not my fault, and moaning at me isn't going to make anyone less stupid.
 
Ditto with the vaccine. Turns out me and Rosco were correct. If I spent a year abusing someone for their opinion, and then they turned out to be correct, I can't imagine that ever happening because of my intelligence, but if it did I'm pretty sure I wouldn't react by insulting the person for imaginary breaches of FA Rule E3 and feigning victimhood and feigning being subjected to boring insults. I'd just be downright embarrassed and ashamed of myself, and quietly try to figure out how to avoid getting things wrong in future. But it is what it is.
 
Can we please all just take a breather, try to discuss stuff a bit more respectfully, and if not possible, ignore post / posters?

This is tiring all of us out and we have a fucking 2nd place league finish to wrap up.

I was reading this thread to get updates on how well Ukraine is holding up etc and to see how Ukranian farmers are equipping themselves with necessary farming weapon...only to come here and find we are still on about Laptop, Trump and Vaccine.

If you don't post with the posture that your opinion is correct and the others are not agreeing with you because they are not smart enough ....then you won't have so much vitriol thrown at you. For someone who claims to be super smart how come Dantes fails to read the room on such a simple thing?

There is nothing in the NATO charter that would preclude Russia from joining, in fact that idea was discussed on both sides at multiple times. It was created to counter USSR, a country that no longer exists, not Russia.

If that is the case, why was NATO not dissolved after USSR and Warsaw Pact ceased to exist?

There were definitely some discussions and doubts of whether it was still needed after 1991, but apparently the alliance countries found it useful for many reasons – such as individual European countries not having to spend as much on defence since being part of the alliance offered them sufficient protection. This allowed their taxpayer money to go to more useful causes instead of being wasted on self-defence from their neighbours.
