He sounded like some wide-eyed newcomer. A couple of years ago we were beating them so easily the Kop was singing happy birthday to the manager. Maybe Werner doesn't like to remember such things, but wandering around yesterday going 'Wow!' - it's naff. Just my opinion, he rarely sounds to me like knows what he's talking about.

He probably doesn't ! But like any newbie needs to given time 😉

I watched the whole 11 mins of his interview without falling asleep .... but can hardly remember more than a sentence or two, not sure if it was that boring (ass-covering) or whether the Alzheimer's is kicking in.
