There was a young Uruguyan defensive midfielder. He has been sensational everytime he plays! Not sure what his name is?

Sanchez would cost a fortune, so I doubt we'd have any chance of getting him.

Salcido might be a good cheap option for LB, particularly if we end up selling Insua. He's not brilliant, but he'd be a decent option with plenty of experience. I'm sure I remember reading something about him leaving PSV to go back to S.America - is he on a free?

I signed Enyeama on FM a couple years back. He did very well for me.

He's been doing very well for Hapoel Tel Aviv. I'd be surprised if he's still there next season.

'Magic' Bougherrha. Didn't see his outlandish forays upfield today, but defended superbly I thought.

Salcido? The Mexican left back was great yesterday
[/quote]

Yup. Been impressed with him. Would be a massive improvement for the left back spot. So would a dead glued down slug like.

I thought Khedira of Germany has been doing pretty well. One of the better players for the Germans today.

Diego Perez.

I like Bastos. Quick, tricky and a hammer of a left foot.

On 15 July, Lille president Michel Seydoux revealed that the club had accepted an €18 million offer from Olympique Lyonnais.[12] On 16 July, Bastos successfully passed his medical and agreed to a four-year contract making him Lyon's second signing of the summer following the Argentine Lisandro López.[13]

Fuck me! 18 million! Guess that's us out of a potential future transfer.

Yeah I like Bastos but every time I hear his name I think Im watching a bunch of Spartans run around in front of a green screen killing shit.

And I stil want us to sign them three

the 18 year old Cameroon Kid, abubakher (or however you spell it). Saw his 15 minute cameo against Denmark today - tons of confidence and looks very confident on the ball. He still plays in Cameroon (only one from the squad) so would be a good investment for the future (he's 18).

Yeah, he looked very good. Arsene is probably on the phone as we speak.

ha ha good point. he'll probably end up in France though -

Ah, already signed for a French team. You're quite right Avy.

The only player in Paul Le Guen’s squad to play his club football in Cameroon, the 18-year-old Coton Sport de Garoua forward is also the youngest member of the Indomitable Lions’ travelling party. “He’s a genius and he’s Cameroon’s hope for 2010 and beyond,†predicted one of his former coaches less than two years ago. In short, his inclusion will have surprised few people back home.

A veritable goal machine in his domestic league, the thoroughbred striker – who stands 1.86-metres tall and weighs 81kg – has been tracked by numerous European sides over the last few seasons and will make the switch to French outfit Valenciennes ahead of the 2010/11 campaign.

“Vincent has good technical qualities and is skilful in front of goal,†says Coton Sport general manager Denis Lavagne. “He’s a good team player but individually he can take responsibility and break the deadlock in a game all on his own. He’s speedy and his physical strength is always a bonus for the team. He’s a player with a bright future ahead of him.â€

Aboubakar made headlines in January by scoring four goals in a single match to help Coton Sport claim a 5-2 win over Fovu Baham, and the fan of Fernando Torres now has the chance to show the whole world what he can do.

who?

Valenciennes

2 season there and he'll be playing for Lyon or some team like that, thats my guess.

The Uruguay left-back, Perreira or something, has been very impressive.

I don't get the Dos Santos love-in, he's been all show and no end product whatsoever,

If that's the bald North Korean striker I agree. He held the ball up superbly, brilliant control and brought others into play. I was very impressed with North Korea's overall passing. I wouldn't be surprised if they went on and got something from the Portugal game.
