Bradleme, the owner of newcastle signed a player without the managers consent. That is the only reason keegan got his payout of 2 million quid, not the 20 he wanted. The yanks can give as much or as little to rafa to spend as they want.

This rubbish about him being so incredible in the transfer market - he showed Owen the door, kept Gerrard in spite of himself, pissed off Xabi, Didi and Sami, spent a load on Morientes, shown up in his efforts to sign a winger and kept faith with Kuyt for the leanest spell from a striker I can remember at Liverpool.
